I'm excited to share with you all another pattern collection - birth month flowers! 💐

So far I've made January through May. I made this a few months ago when I was still in school in a collections class. I designed these to go on bookmarks, which I sold at illu expo! Should I do the rest of the months?

January - Carnation
February - Iris
March - Daffodil
April - Daisy
May - Lily of the Valley

Did I get your birth month? 🌼 by @rubyleahart

Something this page hasn’t seen from me yet - pattern design! Introducing my collection, Recipe for my Love: Tiramisu!

In my last year I took all of the surface design classes even though I was officially registered for the publication design concentration (guess who completed two concentrations 😋) and this is one of my most favorite projects I made in those classes!

If you know me, you probably know I love love love tiramisu. And now you know that even if you don’t know me. I had suchhh a fun time making this pattern, keep your eyes peeled for when I post more pattern work in the future! by @rubyleahart

A quick piece I made the other day inspired from a photo I took on study abroad, and had fun sticking my dog Wesley in it! Why is he on the roof? No idea. How did he get there? He doesn’t even know. Poor boy. by @rubyleahart

I haven’t done one of these in foreverrrr but if you’ve followed me for a long time (loooong time) you may remember that I used to love doing these style challenges! So here is #mrtinadtiys2 ! This was so fun, and I haven’t really got any characters on my page so what a fun way to fix that.

What’s she thinking? Is the tea too hot? Is it bitter? Does she want honey? Sugar? What do you think? ☕️🌸 by @rubyleahart

I’m a bit late to announce this, but a week ago I graduated from SCAD summa cum laude with a BFA in illustration!!!

I am so grateful to @scaddotedu and @scadillustration for everything you taught me. For the challenges, the triumphs, the late nights, the portfolio reviews, expo, the end of year show, and for meeting some of my closest friends ever as well as so many other amazing amazing illustrators and artists! I can’t wait to see what you all do next!! ❤️🐝🎓 taken in SCAD - Atlanta by @rubyleahart
