Another perfect fall piece is hitting the feed! 🧡 This beautiful Fenton thumbprint colonial amber bowl is so good year round, but just absolutely perfect for fall 🍂

It’s the most wonderful time of the yearrrr (sorry gals, I’m a fall/halloween girl through and through 🤭)

What better way to celebrate the cool air and changing leaves than by decorating with chinoiserie pumpkin and gourds?! 🎃🍂

The small blue and white pumpkin was claimed in last night’s live, but the stunning gourd-shaped jar (about 9” tall) is ready to be styled in its new home! I can’t get over how cute a mini pumpkin would look stacked right on top!

I really love these shops. And while they certainly don’t need my help with visibility (considering they’re all killing it!!), I hope this can serve as a little guide for mindful shoppers who would prefer not to shop from AI-generated product imagery.

Why does it matter? For me, it comes down to two things: transparency and sustainability.

Antiques and vintage are one-of-a-kind. When an image inherently changes, enhances, or invents details of the item being sold, you’re no longer seeing exactly what you’re buying. I’ve seen some sellers begin adding disclaimers to AI-generated imagery, which is certainly a step in the right direction, but transparency is only part of why I care.

This is also an industry rooted in sustainability. We sell things that have been pre-loved, and many sellers even reuse and recycle shipping materials (I do!!). The environmental cost associated with generative AI feels at odds with that ethos.

I want to continue championing the shops giving antiques the love and care they deserve (and shoppers the transparency they deserve!).

If you’re an antique/vintage shop that doesn’t use AI to style your product photos (or you know one I should be following) drop the account below. I’d love to keep adding to the list. 🫶🏻

If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I loveeee a dresser box and look at how stunning and unique this one is! Measuring 8.5” long and about 4.5” wide, it’s the perfect addition to your coffee table to hide remotes, eyeglasses, or any other clutter you’d rather not see. It also doesn’t have a divider inside, so it’s the perfect size for tissues!

While I’ve shown these vintage Bill Huebbe-style butler monkeys on a couple of lives, they deserve their spot as a feed post! These seated butler monkeys look so regal holding their palm tree candlestick holders while donning their beautiful red robes.
