I believe (and most scholars would agree) that every flicker of a flame is a little glimpse into another universe. The black wax of WITCH becomes a mirror, reflecting that invitation to peek inside that universe, and to peer deeper into ourselves at the same time. That’s what all the scholars say. incredible photo by @whatisbeccaburning taken in Atlanta, GA by @rubystreetcandles

🖤 🍒 BLACK-CHERRY SODA 🍒 🖤
Restocked at @bellesbagels with a fresh new look. Just the right amount of gourmand. Just the right amount of LEATHER. SMOKE. MOLASSES. DEPTH. The featured historical image is from 1898, an architectural sketch of what would become the main building of Occidental College.

Been waiting all year for this one.
I once knew a girl named Autumn.
Her hair was Auburn and she was a witch.
Witches rule my life.
I worship them and I wanted to make a nice candle for them.

50% proceeds of this candle will go to Los Angeles powerhouse organization since 1971, PEACE OVER VIOLENCE. Working in all sorts of ways to prevent sexual and domestic violence, intimate partner stalking, child abuse and youth violence.

CARDAMOM, PEPPERCORN, CASSIA BARK
ORANGE BLOSSOM, BLACK ROSE
PATCHOULI, SANDALWOOD, SMOKE

Also, new website is live. You can check out WITCH, make an additional donation, or browse around.

Thank you and happy fall.

🖤

I took a lot of pics.

Because of the black eco-dye and patchouli present in the fragrance, this candle burns SLOWLY AND DELICATELY. Just let her rock out

She’s a rocker

I’ve made more versions of this candle than I’d like to admit. It’s been “final” for a while but I only just realized there is no evidence of its existence on the internet. Mainly because I haven’t had the chance to take nice “pro” photos of it. So here are some $hitty pics of my personal fav candle. Santal 69. Available exclusively at @shop.lavecina and now a few are available on my web store taken in Garvanza, Los Angeles by @rubystreetcandles

Major thanks to @zinniestable and @altadenabev who have been kind enough to “host” a few of the auction candles for @marywjacksonannualfund . If you want to check them out and waft their glorious fragrances, you know where to find them! Might want to scoop up some other fine goods and bevs too taken in Altadena Beverage by @rubystreetcandles

Unbelievably stoked to announce our collaboration with @rubystreetcandles on our new signature “matzo ball soup” scented candle. Subtle hints of carrots, celery and dill. Light it up and you’ll find yourself checking on people, asking if they’ve eaten, and insisting they take a sweater. Available in store by the deli counter. taken in Belle's Bagels by @rubystreetcandles
