As the summer creeps closer, we present to you the first ever Give A Funk party, taking over Starlane Pizza Bar for 7 Hours of funky basslines and floaty synthsIn the distant (but accessible) postcode of E16, Starlane is one of our favourite venues in the city. Intimate, loud and powered by a boasting d&b soundsystem, it felt like the perfect venue to host our first dance. Opening things up are Oscar and Ruby. No stranger to a b2b, both patients suffer a serious case of sticky fingers when there’s a pair of CDJs lying around and have therefore delivered plenty of dynamic duo moments. With an anticipated set around the corner, closing Eiger Studios for Radioactive man live, expect machine-funky grooves, stripped back electro and Oscar’s signature Italo goodness. It is an honour to welcome @_jhumkaaa who will provide us with our peak-time soundtrack and a masterclass in everything hypnotic, rolling and floaty. A proper selector with a distinct style developed through weaving her way effortlessly through the London circuit, we’re super excited to experience her musical universe in such an intimate venue. Finally, flying in from Space, the fella @harri_pepper will be joining us for an extended 3 hour closing set. The first time we saw Harri play, his forward-thinking yet completely dancefloor focused track selection kept us front left the entire time. As demonstrated by his monthly rinse show, Harri’s sound is vast and unpredictable. When Harri is playing, it’s only right to strap in and let him guide you through his electro, machine infused, proggy sounds – with all of this tied together by his seamless blends and complete control of the room. Having stolen a fair few IDs from Harri, it felt right to book him for our debut so I can steal some more… Tickets are on RA, link in Bio See you there :* GAF by @rubyyhashim
