National Coming Out Day has always been a day of reflection and remembrance for me! 14 years ago, I took this photo at an event, opening gay and very proud that I made such a pivotal step in becoming more authentically me. If I could give him a few words of encouragement based on what I know now:

1. Keep loving yourself and know that grace is important.
2. Accept the things you can’t control and know that everything will work out in its own time.
3. Being gay isn’t the end of the world!
4. Enjoy your friends and family who love and support the men you’re becoming❤️
5. Always remember to love on yourself even through the hard time!

This weekend was definitely one of the best memories ever! Seeing my favorites celebrate each other and having all the family and friends gather together was such a wonderful experience.

@markss24 & @nikkkitaa , seeing you grow and love on each other for so many years has been one of my favorite life experiences. IN MY HOSTING BAG💁🏾‍♂️

This weekend I finally got to launch the first of five projects in my Spectrum Installment! SKINS has been a two year project in the making and I’m so proud I was able to turn this idea into a reality🥺

I’ve always had dreams of hosting my own live speaking experience and yesterday was such a huge success! Obviously, I couldn’t have done this without the stories of these four amazing young men❤️They’ve been on this journey with me since the start and I’m thankful they were able to stick it out with me and tell the story behind, “ A Man’s Journey”!

If you’re curious about the event, SKINS is an enlightening and thought-provoking Speaker Series event where we delve into the multifaceted experiences that shape a man’s life. The event featured a dynamic panel discussion each bringing unique insights and perspectives to the table.

Part 1 Event Topics:
Exploration of Childhood
Family Dynamics
Navigating College Life
Social and Political Climate
Intimacy and Relationships
Adulthood and Beyond

Part 1 offered a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse experiences and challenges that define a man’s journey.

As many people may know, I don’t just do things once so expect Part 2 next year ❤️😏
