Coach Oswald- “As always, we are going to play the type of schedule necessary to prepare for the NJAC and post season play. In regular season play, 10 of our 19 matches are against top 100 NPI squads from last season. We want our players in top end DIII matches against some of the best teams from the best conferences in the country- which also always been our framework over the last 2 decades for chasing success. I wouldn’t have it any other way and challenging our program is what it’s all about!”

The Scarlet Raptors dropped an NJAC game in Mahwah 3-1.
—
Coach Oswald- “We put ourselves in a difficult position early in the match being down 2-0 in the 1st 20 min and didn’t dig ourselves out of it. Credit to Ramapo. That’s on all of us to solve while being better in the early management of a match, individual choices in the run of play and the execution of the tactical principles we had in place for the 90. Back to the lab to prepare for the Rutgers Derby Day and SR day tomorrow.”

The Scarlet Raptors and Cougars finish in a 1-1 stalemate.

Coach Oswald- “We had every opportunity to win this game. Despite 24 shots and missing 2 PK and a 1v1 chance at the end, we battled until the final whistle to chase the 3 points. It’s unfortunate we came up short.”

The Scarlet Raptors dropped an NJAC game 1-0 to WPU on Wednesday night.
—
Coach Oswald- “Regardless of possession rate or time on the ball in any game, none of that really matters if you are coming up empty finishing chances. As I have said over and over in this business, if you don’t score goals, bad things happen. We need to be more clinical in the final 3rd.”
