The other day I watched Billy Joel’s documentary And So It Goes…and was reminded…true artistry isn’t always recognized in the moment. It also made me think about all the work we put out into the world…How often it goes unseen, misunderstood, or ignored. In a world of instant likes, shares, and the digital applause… The real joy is in the doing.  Creating for ourselves, not the noise that follows.

When the compass points true, but the map keeps shifting. The romance of knowing and the freedom of letting go. ☁️
Sometimes when you know…you just KNOW. Some things in my life I’ve been so certain of, So certain I could stake my whole life on it. And then…I was wrong.
The funny (and cruel) part? Most of the time, we’re the architects and designers of our own disappointments.
Our knowings are very real, even if the world doesn’t always align with them. We don’t always get to hold on to certainty, but we carry the way it shapes us, always.
