The first 3 tracks of a techno set can make or break the entire night so you got to be careful! 😶‍🌫️

Everyone sees the flashing lights, the packed room, and the drops—but the real hard work happens days before I even touch the decks.
Down here, I’m breaking down my exact work line for prepping a gig, from the initial track hunting to the final Rekordbox export.

Here is what we’re diving into:

• The Hunt: Where I find those hidden, unreleased weapons that keep the crowd guessing

• The Architecture: How I map out the energy arc so the set feels like a journey, not just a playlist mainly because you cannot plan a whole set

• The Safety Net: The emergency tracks I always keep on standby in case the vibe needs a hard pivot

Doing this work beforehand is what gives me the freedom to actually read the room and improvise live.
