🥇 IN L4 AND POWERSTAGE WINNERS! 💪

My first ever class win in L4 and power stage win this weekend and on my birthday!

Such an insane weekend on such challenging and twisty roads. First big thank you to my right hand gal @ruffianrunner for the pep talks and making goals to improve every single stage. We put so much work and effort to carve time on our second/third passes. I’m so incredibly thankful for our teamwork. 💜

Another big thank you to @ig.matrixmotorsports, @shiftupnow, @taborracingteam, @rustywallace_ford and my Supporters club ‘First Funders’ for the support, without you this wouldn’t be possible. 🫶

I’ve moved into 1st in my championship with the final @ara_rally round next month at @lakesuperiorperformancerally! Excited to continue this momentum and fight for the championship!

So much more on this weekend coming soon, but in the meantime enjoy this podium video and champagne spray 🍾

Thank you for all the birthday wishes and kind words ☺️

While not technically part of a stage at the @overmountain_rally it's part of the transit following the massive Gulf of Tennessee stage and water crossings with race cars is always cool.

I have so many thoughts and feelings about this weekend. And there will be beautiful professional photos from champagne sprays and ripping it in the Tennessee woods. But this pic, snapped by a friendly fan captures the quiet moment in between stages where we share comraderie and war stories with our fellow competitors and do a quick tire pressure check. It’s the calm before the storm, the brain break before we need total concentration.

I so proud of what we are accomplished this weekend at Overmountain Tennessee Rally with our first class win together. And I am excited about the journey we are on.

The mountain doesn’t always have to be out to have a great time at Mt Rainier National Park! So grateful to get to spend a perfect day on the mountain with these amazing women from London and Amarillo, TX. From the flatlands to the mountains ❤️.

Lu - we have the perfect spot for your wedding 😉.

It has finally happened! Sid gave us a tease two days ago by flashing a hint of antler and today is working hard on his new crown. I had seen enough videos to know what to expect but it is really no substitute for seeing this natural process in person.

First question my family asked was, “does it hurt”. It doesn’t seem to. At this point the velvet (soft, fuzzy, brown stuff) has lost blood supply and is drying out. I suppose it could be likened to peeling a sunburn or a snake shedding their skin. It just looks quite a bit more dramatic. This happens every year. The females will shed their velvet a bit later.

A reindeer named Bunny! Bun Bun as I affectionately call her is my favorite. Even the other kids know it. She and I have spent many a cold night out in our dark winters at events and she’s kept me warm out at events when I cuddle her for warmth. She’s incredibly kind and sweet.

I find they are all clever and her neat trick is she will whip her lead rope into her antlers so you let go and then she’ll trot off. She doesn’t do it with me any more but if anyone new is on the lead she’ll give it a try. The rule: NEVER let go.

Planning to breed this year with our young bull means some redecorating needs to be done before he goes into rut. It feels like a bit of a mad countdown before it will become unsafe to go in the pen. So despite @lucashredsgnar being out of town I had to get my booty in gear and make some progress.

Still need to add the top row but hoping this saves the fence along the shared fence line and that this will make him less stressed about Bunny and Sid on the other side.
