It’s been a minute since our last release, but we’ve been busy digging for the right music and welcoming fresh talent to the roster.

A huge welcome to @razvanscz, who joins the team with an absolute weapon of an EP. “SCUZE – Heavy Duty / Waiting Voices” lands in late August.

Throwback to SHRWM’s Feel Me, released October 29th, 2021 on Ruffinaments. It is a clean and emotionally driven take on modern breakbeat. Built around a catchy piano riff and a nostalgic vocal hook, the track balances groove and melody in a way that feels both classic and current.

The drums are tight and rolling, rooted in breakbeat tradition but polished with a modern edge. What really stands out is the musicality—this isn’t just a rhythm tool for the dancefloor, it’s a track with identity. The piano gives it warmth, while the vocal adds a subtle throwback vibe without feeling dated.

There’s a clear influence from late ‘90s / early 2000s UK sounds, but SHRWM keeps things minimal and focused, letting each element breathe. Nothing feels overproduced or forced—just solid groove, good taste, and strong atmosphere.

Feel Me is one of those tracks that works in multiple settings: easy to listen to, but just as effective in a set. A simple idea executed well, and a great example of how breakbeat continues to evolve without losing its roots. by @ruffinaments

Released on September 24, 2021 via Ruffinaments, "The Junglist" by MISS MANTS is a tight, club-focused builder that favors momentum over flash. Driven by a punchy low end and a bassline built for movement, the track leaves space for crisp, high-frequency percussion to gradually lift the groove.
Melodically minimal, it evolves through subtle filtering, saturation, and micro-automation, creating a sense of continuous rise without relying on a big hook. With short, functional breakdowns and a clean, bright mix balanced by a touch of grit, it’s a highly mixable, late-set weapon designed for pure dancefloor flow.

Throwback to our 11th release, when we welcomed NORBEST to the label with his first production.

Suggestively titled “1st Rave”, the track opens with a dark, heavy atmosphere built around samples from classic 90s drum & bass anthems, before switching into a euphoric piano-driven rave section.

The release also featured two powerful remixes from Ruffinaments regular EM-WA Tanner, while Welsh producer SHRWM made his debut on the label with a superb reinterpretation of the track. by @ruffinaments

Ruffinaments asked and Kraymon delivered! Let’s take it back to this 2021 release that fills your room (and the club) with lush basslines and crisp drums. The chops on Emma Ireland’s vocals on the second track take you away on a magical ride and make you forget the mundane.
