Last week marked an exciting milestone for RUFF as we broke ground on the long-awaited renovation of the Richmond Street Dog Run, our original neighborhood dog park and the place where RUFF’s story began.

After years of planning, persistence and partnership, we’re thrilled to finally see this project come to life. Thank you to Leslie and Dave from our Board who have spearheaded this project and kept it moving in the right direction.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Representative Aaron Michlewitz, MassDOT, our project team, neighborhood partners and the entire RUFF community who helped get us here.

Construction is officially underway, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to a new and improved Richmond Street Dog Run! 🐶🐾 taken in Boston's North End by @ruffnorthend

Throwback! Who remembers the Prince St. park before it was the gorgeous space we have now? This video from 2017 reminds us how far we’ve come. And now, Richmond St. dog run follows the same journey!

Thanks for all your support over the years 🧡🐶 Everything RUFF does is for our local dogs to have safe spaces to play! And to make some great friends along the way. taken in North End Dog Park by @ruffnorthend
