Work to clean, repair and light St Andrew’s Church is now complete. ✨

The external improvements have restored key parts of this much-loved town centre landmark. They include cleaned stonework, repairs, new window guards and lighting to show the church’s architecture after dark.

The project forms part of our wider work to make Rugby town centre more welcoming for residents, businesses and visitors.

♻️ Does recycling really make a difference?

For Recycle Week, Patch went behind the scenes at Sherbourne Recycling to find out.

What you put in your blue-lidded bin is sorted into different material streams, including paper and card, metals, plastics and glass. Anything that shouldn’t be there has to be separated out.

That’s why recycling right matters. Keeping your recycling clean, dry and loose helps make sure as much good material as possible can go on to be recycled.

Plans for a new GP surgery at Houlton have taken an important step forward.

NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is aiming to complete the full business case this financial year, allowing detailed planning to start during 2027/28.

The proposed facility would open as a branch of Clifton Road Surgery. Its first phase would include seven clinical rooms and capacity for 6,000 patients.

The ICB is responsible for commissioning GP services. We will continue to bring partners together, represent residents and monitor progress towards delivery.
