rb lp track 4: Azalea Daydreams
This one is full of meaning to me; it is also the closest to being finished [yes, still wrapping up album one whilst venturing deeper in LP2]:
- it’s an homage to vitality & verdancy; to femininity and beauty; to creation and growth
- it was also to be the name of a child I thought might happen at one time; a daughter who I began to see glimpses of from some other time
- I began to see her as an agile warrior taking on the mantle of life as mine continues to slip away, so it seemed only fitting to pair it with #Miyizaki’s #PrincessMononoke
This song is a reminder of the wellspring of life continually gushing forth energy and sustenance for all creatures on this earth, in the cosmos. It reminds me to keep striving for greater strength that I might transmute my power into greater works of of service in this glorious world. And it symbolizes what I still yearn for most: to create something[/one] beyond me.

I’m also BEYOND proud and thrilled to feature @kelliiscott ‘s bliiiistering performance on this track

I feel like a cicada crawling out of the ground after years of dormant slumber every time I get a performance back from @kelliiscott [hire him for all your drumming needs]. This is but an excerpt of his greatness on the title track to the 2nd album Palmyra, out 2036 probably.

Released a new ep(ic) featuring @kelliiscott literally obliterating the drums ~

Been working on this tune [which I decided to split in three] for most of this year. Couldn’t be happier with Kellii’s performance on this. Find it on my bandcamps ~
