Ella left us unexpectedly last Thursday, and I am just now getting the guts to write about it. Ella bounced through life with the energy of a drunk prom queen. She jumped up on absolutely every human she ever met, never barked for ten seconds when she could bark for ten minutes instead, and bossed Gus around just because she could. I’ll never forgive her for not living forever, and I’ll never stop loving her. by @rukniteach

Because I am 100% that dog mom, Ella and Gus went to #lkprhowloween2019 at @littlekahunas today! Ella was a (socially awkward) unicorn and Gus was a mouse (duh). Thanks LKPR for so much fun and such awesome pictures! Swipe right for an epic Gus outtake 😂 #dogs #dogsofinstagram #dogsofaustin #dogsof512 #chiweenie #chiweeniesofinstagram #chihuahuasofinstagram #chihuahua #halloween #halloweencostume #halloweenpets #meangirls taken in Austin, Texas by @rukniteach

Gus is looking pretty darn handsome in his new @dogsbythebay sloth collar! It was too apropos to resist given how much time this boy spends unconscious 😂 #chihuahua #chihuahuasofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #dogs #instadogs #dogsofaustin #ruggable taken in Austin, Texas by @rukniteach

Hanging out at @austinsubaru while my Forester gets its windows tinted. No hardship for me, thanks to the coffee bar, and no hardship for Gus, thanks to all the attention he’s getting 😂 #chihuahuasofinstagram #chihuahua #dogstagram #dogsofinstagram #dogsofaustin taken in Austin Subaru by @rukniteach

And now we are three (again). Meet Gus: 4 years, 7lbs, part chihuahua, part sloth, part ragdoll, 100% good boi. He and Ella are getting along swimmingly. Thanks to @forgottenfriendstx for this little man! #chihuahuasofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #dogs #dogsofaustin by @rukniteach

My heart is broken. I had to say goodbye to my first baby today. She spent her last day napping, eating treats, and getting peanut butter straight from the jar. Rest easy, Eileen. You were so loved. by @rukniteach
