We were very excited to try out our new goal nets at today’s training! ⚽️🥅 Nice and adjustable, from @telescopicgoal . We even had a lil helper while setting them up 🐦‍⬛

Shout-out to @rule_foundation for making this possible 😄😄

We had a bit of a warm-up in the light rain, but luckily it cleared up in time for some 7v7 and subbing practice! 🌦️⚽️

Join the fun every Sunday! Send us a DM to join t by @rule_foundation

Every meaningful project starts with one great idea.

Your idea could be the one that creates connection, improves wellbeing, or leaves a lasting legacy for rainbow communities.

Just like this digital story telling initiative from @moana_va, previous recipients of the Rainbow Wellbeing Legacy Fund (RWLF).

“Funding from the RWLF helped us amplify Pacific Rainbow voices through digital storytelling, community connection, and inclusive events. It allowed us to grow our reach, strengthen our kaupapa, and continue creating safe, joyful spaces both online and in real life.” Lana Shields - Moana Vā, Navigators of Pacific Pride

The Rainbow Wellbeing Legacy Fund is now open for applications from organisations and groups south of Tāmaki Makaurau.

🌈 Grants of up to $20,000 are available for projects that strengthen the wellbeing of rainbow communities and create lasting impact.

📅 Applications close at 5.00pm on Monday 31 August 2026. You can find out more through the link in our bio. by @rule_foundation

Some BIG news. ✨

We received some funding from the Rule Foundation for a new Queer Clay Club project called Visions of Us.

Over the next few months, fifty people will each create a small clay candle altar, a shrine to a personal hope, wish, or vision. We'll make them together in free workshops across Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau before glazing, firing and bringing them together for one exhibition in February.

On opening night, every single candle will be lit at the same moment.

Fifty visions, activated all at once.

Alongside the support from the Rule Foundation, I'm also incredibly grateful to have two wonderful New Zealand businesses alongside us. Potters Clay Nelson are generously providing the clay, and Kiwi Underglaze are providing a colourful range of underglazes, so every participant can make something that's completely their own.

One of my favourite things about this project is that many people will be touching clay for the very first time. Thanks to the support of the Rule Foundation, Potters Clay Nelson and Kiwi Underglaze, those workshops will be completely free, with all materials provided.

No experience needed. Just bring yourself.

I'll be sharing more soon, including how to put your hand up.

A huge thank you to @pottersclaynelson, @kiwi.underglaze, and @therulefoundationthe for believing in this project, and to Migrant Action Trust for acting as the umbrella for this project. I can't wait to see these different visions take shape in clay.

#QueerClayClub #VisionsOfUs #ContemporaryCeramics #LGBTQIA+ A collection of colourful hand-built ceramic candle altars, each uniquely decorated with underglaze paintings of flowers, birds, stars and botanical motifs. Tea lights glow inside the altars, creating a warm installation celebrating the Queer Clay Club project Visions of Us. Now it's our turn.

Whether you're launching an innovative new initiative, growing an established programme, or building something that will leave a lasting legacy for your community, we'd love to hear from you.

Applications are now open.

Key information:
• Grants of up to $20,000
• Available for projects benefiting communities south of Tāmaki Makaurau
