Sanctuary
.
The thing about hand screen print is that the more color you have in a design the more screens you have to make. This one might break our record of using screens in one t-shirt, 10 screens 10 colours 10 hand print process. Phew!

Sanctuary /ˈsæŋk.tʃʊə.ri/ protection or safe place, especially for someone or something being chased or hunted.
.
I created this artwork with the intention of imagining a utopian realm, a form of escapism from everything happening in the world. Horror and depressing news about humans and animals seem to flood relentlessly.
All the helplessness feeling of to just stood here while all the crazy news in the world passed you by like it was nothing. Maybe I care too much.
.
Maybe I needed to create a sanctuary for my mind.
.
I imagine a world where every living being could rest for a moment, freed from the burden of constant hunting and being hunted, of constant chasing and being chased by the world.
.
Maybe, sometimes, all you need is a moment to slow down, pause and rest. taken in Rumantra by @rumantra

A new story is about to unfold.

We found shelter in a deep forest.
A place to rest. A place to escape.

We can’t wait to share this fable with you. taken in Rumantra by @rumantra
