And with that…London Band Week 2025 has come to an end. From our Tower Bridge performance, to the London Tattoo, to our march across Hampton Court Palace, we had an incredible time exploring and performing in the city of London 🇬🇧

We will forever be grateful for the London Band Week staff and liaisons who took such amazing care of us this entire week. We would also like to thank our Rutgers MSK Staff and Honorary Staff that helped us not only navigate this week, but also helped us get to this incredible point in our program where we deserve this performance status ❤️

We also would like to send a HUGE thank you and shoutout to all of our family, friends, and supporters who not only came to our performances in London, but supported us from New Jersey and all over the country as we were across the pond 🫶

Stay tuned for much more LBW content that will be coming soon! And if you want to join a family like this…click the link in our bio to register for our 2025 season today 😊

Thank you to our amazing @rutgersu, @ruathletics, @rfootball, our wonderful @rudanceteam and @rutgers_cheer, @rumenssoccer and @ruwsoccer, to all those who donated, shared videos and pictures of us on social media, our amazing band parents, staff, friends and family, and to many more. Pork Roll or Taylor Ham? The debate continues...

JMS major Devin Davis headed to SHI Stadium to ask members of the Rutgers Marching Band one of New Jersey's most important questions: Pork Roll or Taylor Ham?

The opinions were strong. The answers were passionate.

And apparently, we also need to settle Kaiser roll vs. bagel.

So, Rutgers, where do you stand?
PORK ROLL or TAYLOR HAM?

Special Thanks: Chad Beaton, Simon Kowerski, Gianna Viola, Jeffrey Glasser, Andrew Rubano, David Gallagher, Emily Nichols, Darrell Hendrix, David Haines

The MSK is proud to welcome Dr. Turner Gray as the new assistant director to our athletic bands program!

Before arriving at Rutgers, Dr. Gray was the Pep Band Director at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. He holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Washington State University, and The Florida State University College of Music. His research is focused on how the marching arts can be a beneficial teaching tool for all students—especially music majors. As an active performer, adjudicator, and clinician, Dr. Gray has been featured at many conferences including the International Women’s Brass Conference, the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, and various tuba/euphonium conferences.

Congratulations Dr. Gray! We are so excited for all that you will bring to our band program!
