It's tuesday. The acoustic set of original rumsongs is cooking. An evening with the rum social club without live music would be quite boring. 😉✨️ by @rumcasketeers

Sometimes, a silly idea can turn into a script and inspire a drink recipe.🍹🎬 ACT 1 - Location: The Rumbar A thirsty traveler enters, weary and undecided. Lucky for them, the Rumtender has a "spirited" banger up his sleeve...🗨️Rumtender: "Have you tried our rum-ance classic Shakes-beer’s 'Rum-eo and Jewels'🍒yet?" ✨Customer: "Wait, what did you say? 😁 No, what's in it?"🍺 The Drink: Shakes-beer's Rum-eo1️⃣ The Base: A cold, basic lager (The "Shakes-beer").2️⃣ The Spike: A double shot of dark rum (The "Rum-eo").3️⃣ The Finish: A heavy squeeze of fresh lime 🍋‍🟩 (to keep the rum-ance zesty).🍒 The Garnish (The Jewels):Take a cocktail stick and add two (2) olives, cherries, or even mini-tomatoes. Enjoy responsibly! #rumcocktail #bartenderstories #BartenderCommunity by @rumcasketeers

🧪We went full mad scientist with this upgraded cask design! 😎 Is it budget friendly to produce? Not really. 🤔Anyway...The 2,000-year-old barrel design got an upgrade! This design potentially eliminates unpredictability and massive evaporation losses. ⭐Faster Return on Investment: Time is expensive. Using CNC-milled "honeycombed" internal staves increases the internal surface area by 30–50%. This allows spirits to extract flavors much faster, achieving a 10-year flavor profile in just 6–7 years. ⭐Maintenance-Free & Zero Leaks We've replaced traditional hammered hoops with threaded, adjustable tensioning bands that can be tuned with a simple torque wrench. Combined with precision-milled interlocking joints, this creates a mechanical seal that stops stave slip and reduces leaks by 90%. ⭐Defeating the Angels' Share: The industry loses billions to evaporation escaping through the wood's end-grain. New design introduces steel-clad ends to cap the chime, choking off these exit points and saving up to 15% more product over a 12-year cycle. This could be in theory a cask design that ages spirits 3x faster, minimizes leaks, eliminates the Angels' Share, and can be maintained by a robot.🌐In reality. The old school casks are part of the whole production "story". So this was just a fun thought experiment. #rum #cask by @rumcasketeers

🦎Just another short one that encourages everyone to take it slow. It's more about the vibe and the people you share those special rum-tiki moments with instead of just getting hammered. Don't over do it. Respect the rum and have fun. 😎✨🥃 by @rumcasketeers

They told us that to drink was to "keep company with Death."A century later, that piece of US Prohibition-era propaganda is the name of the world's most influential cocktail brand. In the 1920s, American "Temperance" activists used fear to keep people out of bars. Their message was literal: Alcohol equals a grave. If you were caught in a speakeasy, you were "keeping company with Death."In 2006, a tiny basement bar in New York City’s East Village decided to reclaim the insult. The founders took that "dark" warning and turned it into a badge of honor for the modern cocktail renaissance. What started as a gritty, windowless tribute to 1920s rebellion in Manhattan is now a global pioneer, setting the standard for craft hospitality from LA to Brisbane. From fear-mongering pamphlets to "World’s Best Cocktail Bar" this is how Death & Co turned historical propaganda into a global empire. 🍸✨#rumcocktails #mixology #bartender by @rumcasketeers

What do Agricole Rum and Mikael Agricola have in common? 🥃🪶It’s more than just a name. As we celebrate the "Father of the Finnish Language" on 9th of April, let’s dive into a linguistic coincidence that spans from the Baltic to the Caribbean. 🧙‍♂️First, the man: Mikael Agricola. In the 1500s, he didn’t just translate the New Testament, he essentially invented written Finnish! His family were farmers, so when he went to school, he took the Latin surname "Agricola" meaning "Farmer."✨️Now, the spirit: Rhum Agricole. 🌴 Unlike standard rum made from molasses, "Agricole" is made from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. The name is French for "Agricultural." It was the "Farmer's Rum," distilled directly on the plantation. The "Secret" Connection: 🧠 Both names share the exact same Latin root: Ager (Field) + Colere (to cultivate).Whether you’re cultivating the first Finnish grammar rules or a field of premium sugarcane, you are literally an Agricola.Let's toast to the man with a spirit that shares his name? 🍸✨️🍹#Agricole #Etymology #Finland by @rumcasketeers

S. KING: "I think the most important thing is that you take the talent that god gave you and do the best with it. That you can that you not sell it short that you don't slack off that you not take it easy. That you just go as HARD! as you can all the time and that's what I'm trying to do."#writerquotes #stephenking by @rumcasketeers
