Cool. Normal question. Totally chill. Definitely not existential at all.

On May 16, we’re putting that question to the test at Rumours Lounge with a night that wriggles between genres, vibes, and emotional damage (the fun kind). This is an all female-fronted lineup bringing the heat, the heart, and possibly the identity crisis you didn’t know you needed.

Featuring:

Pandora
Kaylin Hill
Funk 'n' Kiff
All This For Nothing
Moshmallow

Doors: 17:00
Damage: R100
Location: Rumours Lounge

Whether you’re here to dance, cry, scream, or spiral gently into the void, this one’s for you.

Duane on the Deck

Ease into the evening with something a little smoother. From 6PM, Duane takes over the deck with a stripped-down acoustic set—warm tones, easy vibes, and the kind of sound that pairs perfectly with a drink in hand.

Free entrance, so no excuses.
Drink specials flowing all night.

Pull through, grab a spot, and let the music do its thing. taken in Rumours Events And Info by @rumoursevents

Every Thursday from 6PM — we’re not easing into the weekend… we’re launching into it sideways.

Hosted by Robyn Norris, this is not your polite little sing-along. This is full-send, no-dignity, main-character chaos.

Mic in hand, lights in your face, and suddenly you’re that guy.
Singing like Freddie Mercury? Legendary.
Singing like you’ve never heard music before? Even better.

No auditions. No judgement. No shame.
If you can hold a mic, you’re booked.

We’ve got cocktail specials flying all night, so whether you’re liquid-courage deep or just there to gas your friends — the vibe stays LOUD.

Expect:
– Unexpected bangers
– Group singalongs that get out of hand
– Someone absolutely destroying a song they had no business touching
– And at least one performance that makes you question everything

Bring the crew. Pick your anthem. Ruin it or own it — either way we’re cheering.

This is your villain arc. Your rockstar arc. Your “I can’t believe I did that” arc.

Pull up. Get on stage. taken in Rumours Events And Info by @rumoursevents

Every first & last Wednesday, we’re throwing the rulebook straight in the bin.

From 6PM, the stage is open and anything can happen. One minute it’s smooth, the next it’s absolute chaos — missed cues, accidental bangers, five people who’ve never met somehow locking in like a touring band.

This is Jam Night — where strangers become bands, songs are made up on the spot, and “just one more” turns into a whole situation.

We’ve got a house band of rotating Muso's holding it down — jumping in, guiding, supporting, and occasionally sending things completely off the rails in the best way possible. Whether you’re a seasoned player or it’s your first time touching a stage — you’re getting up there.

No gatekeeping. No weird energy. No egos.
If you’ve got the nerve, you’ve got a spot.

And yes — Jam Jars are flowing, so hydration is fully handled.

Bring your instrument. Bring your voice. Bring your friends.
Or just pull through, grab a drink, and witness the madness.

It’s loud. It’s messy. It’s magic. taken in Rumours Events And Info by @rumoursevents
