A huge thank you to @workingranchmagazine for featuring our ranch in their @durangoboots ranch journal! This article covers 12 days during the busiest part of calving season from my perspective as I balance all aspects of being a mom, wife, and rancher. I love every opportunity I get to share about being a woman in agriculture in hopes it inspired others like me who didn’t grow up on the ranch but got there as fast as they could. Thanks for reading ❤️ by @rumseycattleco

We’re Trent and Kaylie Rumsey, the family behind Rumsey Cattle Company—an Angus cow/calf operation and working homestead rooted in Egin, Idaho. We raise cattle with intention and live out the ranching lifestyle with our kids by our side. Through our growing social media platforms, we share real, day-to-day moments of ranch life, agriculture, and the values we’re proud to pass down. Whether we’re calving, farming, or working on horseback, we aim to connect people to the heart of ranching.

We’re team chores before breakfast but I make sure the kids eat before we go out- less whining that way 😅

“I have no idea how you do it all!”

Someone at one point said I couldn’t, shouldn’t, or wouldn’t and I now have to prove that I can 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m definitely insane 😅
