Muss euch kurz was erzählen.

Wagemut-Sommerfest letztes Jahr in Quickborn. Nicolas Kröger zieht eine Probe direkt aus dem Fass. Volle Fassstärke, keine Verdünnung. Ein Besucher nimmt einen Schluck und sagt, was alle im Raum denken: „Warum füllt ihr eigentlich nicht genau das ab?!“

Ein Jahr später ist genau das da: der Wagemut PX als Cask Strength. 58,7%. Foursquare aus Barbados, 10 Jahre tropisch gereift, Finish in 35 Jahre alten PX-Sherryfässern.

Und der eigentliche Grund für den Post: Ich konnte für uns einen kurzen Vorverkauf rausholen. Ihr aus der RumX-Community kommt 48 Stunden früher ran. Zwei Tage, bevor die Flasche offiziell startet. RX Loyalty Points wie immer inklusive.

Der „normale“ PX-Cask steht bei sehr guten 8,0/10 aus 296 Bewertungen. Das hier ist sein erwachsener Bruder: mehr Wucht, mehr Holz, mehr Sherry.

What a day.

Exactly two years ago, I was sitting in a restaurant in Paris, took a sip from a Savanna cask sample, and knew immediately: this has to be part of our community. Today, April 17, 2026, the Savanna × RumX bottle is a reality.

445 bottles. One of the most extraordinary casks Savanna has ever bottled. 17 years of tropical aging on Réunion. A double cask from ex-Cognac and ex-Armagnac. And in the end, demand that blew past anything I had previously considered realistic. 🤯

For us as a team and for me personally, this is a real milestone. When I started programming Rum Tasting Notes at night in my living room in Stuttgart back in 2018, I never in a million years would have believed that we’d one day make our own Savanna Single Cask. Today, that happened. Because of you.

But I want to be honest: the day didn’t go smoothly. A bug in my code messed up the checkout for some people, the demand overwhelmed our logistics, and many loyal members ended up empty-handed. That’s tough, and I’m largely to blame. I just posted a detailed explanation on the forum: https://community.rumx.com/t/29597/237

But despite everything, the fact remains: this bottle exists. A community convinced Savanna that a cask like this belonged in their hands. And we had a launch day where there were 17 clicks per second on the checkout, and yet every single payment went through smoothly.

Now I’m shutting down the computer, pouring myself a glass, and enjoying a sip of what two years of work have gone into.

To everyone who managed to snag a bottle: enjoy. To everyone who came up empty-handed: thank you for your trust and understanding. A few stragglers are still coming, details in the forum.

🔥 **UNE COLLABORATION LÉGENDAIRE** 🔥
Quand l’application qui monte en flèche, @rumx.app , s’associe au mythe absolu de La Réunion, @rhum_savanna_officiel … ça donne naissance à un véritable chef-d’œuvre.

J’avais eu l’immense privilège de goûter ce nectar il y a 2 ans lors d’un tasting mémorable au @restaurant_blanc_paris . Mon Dieu, quelle dinguerie c’était… Un souvenir gustatif impérissable. Aujourd’hui, j’ai eu la chance d’y regoûter… et il prend enfin vie officiellement, et je suis en admiration totale devant le travail et la maîtrise technique de Savanna.
🌴 **SAVANNA RumX : Un fût unique, une communauté amoureuse du rhum, une signature.**
On est face à un **Rhum Grand Arôme de 17 ans, fut 991, 68,7% brut de fût. GA à 664,6 g/hlap.
Un jus qui a transpiré et mûri intégralement sous le climat tropical exigeant de La Réunion, d’abord en fût ex-Cognac avant d’être magistralement affiné en fût ex-Armagnac.

Le résultat dans le verre ? Un grand arôme exubérant, doté d’un tempérament de folie ! Mon Dieu que c’est beau, chaleureux et intense… Une claque absolue à laquelle j’ai décidé sans hésiter d’attribuer l’excellente note de 🚨 93/100

🎨 **Un habillage à la hauteur du jus**
Bouteille et étiquette incroyables. L’artiste @xandro.arte nous a fait une création de folie. Le contraste entre le fond noir profond et la typo orange apporte une dimension lumineuse et intense. Regardez de plus près : des mots liés au rhum, à la distillation et à l’île intense s’assemblent dans différents lettrages pour former un « X » hypnotique , un clin d’œil parfait à RumX et à sa propre signature artistique. C’est du grand art !
⏳ Attention, il n’y aura que 445 bouteilles. Elles seront prochainement disponibles uniquement sur l’application RumX.
Préparez-vous, ça va être épique. Ne passez surtout pas à côté de cette pépite.
