I finally understand the Superblast hype. This shoe is 🔥

ASICS Superblast 2 quick review: light, bouncy, and way more versatile than I expected. Not just hype… this one actually performs.

Overrated or worth it? I’m leaning worth it 🔥

Let me know if you’ve run in these 👇

Finished strong, closing out the Summer Series with the Watermelon Dash 5K. Trained hard, followed my strategy, pushed hard, and dropped my time from 23:13 at the Lemonade Dash in June to 22:31, finishing 52nd out of 1,528 total runners. Dawg work.

4 mile tempo run in the Boston 13s🏃🏾 💨

Coming off an 8-mile run Sunday, my legs felt great today after what was probably the toughest run of the yr.

One thing I’m realizing more and more: sleep and starting earlier in the morning can make the run a little easier. When I’m rested and I’m not running in the peak heat, I can definitely tell the difference.

Medal Monday: UH 10k - Back in that Mode 😤

My first attempt at a 10k race was a success. A great starting point that I can build on and improve. I’m proud of the progress that I’ve made only being 2 yrs in as a runner in my mid 30s.

I finished 150th overall out of 1599 runners with an official time of 49:11, and 20th overall in my age group out of 136 runners.

It’s really a blessing to do this, and I’m looking forward to another half marathon without injury to crush that sub 2 on em!

UH 10K 🤘🏾: First 10K in the books. The adjustments I made to my training, race strategy, and recovery leading up to this race made it easier to execute on race day.

I set a goal of finishing at an 8:30 min/mile pace or faster—and ended up crushing it with a 7:55 pace. My strategy proved to be successful once again.

It’s a blessing to be able to do this after recovering from an injury earlier this year.

First run in the Mizuno Neo Vista 2. Soft, light, and comfortable with some bounce for an enjoyable run.
