MK’s Why 🤍

Children are the future. They are the next generation who will grow, lead, create change and shape the world we live in.

That’s why this means so much to me.

We’re living in a time where so many people are struggling. The cost of living crisis has impacted families across the country, with people finding it harder to afford the things they need and simply trying to make ends meet.

There are so many issues happening in the world that can feel bigger than us. Things we may not always have the power to change directly, whether that’s political decisions, inequality or the systems around us.

But I believe we all have the power to do something.

For me, that starts with using my voice, creating awareness and bringing people together to have conversations that matter.

Run For Change is more than just a run. It’s about creating a space where people can come together, learn, support and stand alongside communities that need it most.

Run 4 change is dedicated to supporting Ethnic Food Bank @ethnicfoodbank_bedford and Great Ormond Street Hospital @greatormondst because every child deserves access to support, care and the opportunity to thrive.

Why matters✨

Hearing Moses speak about why he chose to support these charities was a reminder that the causes we stand behind are often deeply personal✨

For many Black men, conversations around mental health are still difficult to have. That’s why charities like Black Minds Matter are so important, they create spaces where support is accessible, culturally informed, and stigma can begin to be broken.

At Run for Change, we’re not just raising money. We’re creating a platform where people can share why these causes matter to them, start meaningful conversations, and inspire others to do the same.
