What a morning!

Over 50 runners showed up at DHA Raya for the RCRxLoaf Bakery Run in collaboration with the Ironman Shahrez Khan, and the Fairways Market route with those Golf Course views made it one to remember. 🙌

Big thank you to The Loaf, founded by Gauher Bano Qureshi, for hosting us with coffee and guilt-free snacks after the run. Special kudos to Shahrez for making the post-run networking as good as the run itself.

We owe a huge thanks to DHA Raya Management for the approvals, route clearance, and support that made this whole thing a resounding success!

Excited for what's next. 🇵🇰 by @run_comrade_run

RCR ✖️ KAFI Bakery Run

Great turnout at 4:45 AM on a Sunday morning as over 80 members showed up in the hot summer weather.

We welcome all the newcomers to the running community who got the chance to go for a scenic maiden round around Gaddafi Stadium.

As the pioneers of the innovative concept of the Bakery Run, we continue to revolutionize the concept of a group run!

RCR✖️Aora Bakery Run in collaboration with Sweet Moments.

Another Bakery Run edition that exceeded expectations as the seating capacity at our partner bakery was around 40 and way over 50 people turned up. We are forever grateful to Ghania for hosting us this morning and for serving one of the best Spanish lattes in Lahore.

Special thanks and kudos to Aora Activewear for coming up with great, customized RCR and Run Like A Girl merch. We look forward to having more collaborations with the team in the coming days.

First Run ✨️ by @run_comrade_run

Miles for Hope was never just about the miles we ran. It was about the people who showed up, the communities that came together, and the connections we built along the way. ❤️

At the heart of every great event is a community that believes in something bigger than itself. It’s the people, the shared passion and the willingness to show up for one another that make it all worthwhile.

Here’s to building more than just running clubs. Here’s to building a community. 🫶 by @run_comrade_run

Run Comrade Run !!! by @run_comrade_run

Dear Women,
You spend all your life showing up for everyone else , dont forget to show up for yourself, too.

Yesterday, we came together at Bagh-e-Jinnah for Himmel Pinktober, @himmelpharmapk @pinktoberpakistan, united by a cause that deserves more than a month's attention.

May the conversation continue long after October, because awareness should not be seasonal, neither should our commitment to our health.

kudos to @run_comrade_run , a proud co-organizing partner for the event.

Crossing the finish line is never just about the distance covered. It’s about every battle fought, every hardship endured, every internal or external ordeal overcome, and the courage to keep showing up. ❤️

It’s about standing together, lifting each other up, celebrating one another and reminding every warrior out there that YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Different journeys, different battles, but one beautiful spirit. We show up with love, strength and courage because we are in this together, no matter what! Being with soooo many of my beloved girls was a high in itself 💕

A special shout-out to RFC @rfc.runclub - Rubab Gardezi @rubabgardezi & Anam Malik @braxton_kicks for putting together such a beautiful, exceptionally well-managed and dapper-looking event.

For women, by women, and ALL IN WITH WOMEN! 💕

Here’s to every warrior who keeps moving, keeps believing and keeps crossing those finish lines one battle at a time.

RCR turns two today.

Back in November 2024, I remember standing alone in Islamabad preparing for the cycling leg of Islamabad Duathlon. I never imagined that within just two years, we would build one of the biggest and most vibrant running communities in Pakistan.

We didn't just run, we changed how Lahore sees running.

We introduced the Bakery Run - getting people to wake up at 5 AM for a run, followed by coffee and conversation. The idea was simple: give the younger generation a healthier, more meaningful way to have fun and connect. A huge thank you to our partners @fudge_pk @loaf.the @sweetmoments.pk @bodybybutter.pk @kafi_pk who opened their doors and helped us bring this concept to life.

We pioneered Run Like a Girl - the first all-girls running events in Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad. With the help of the powerful concept of Run Like A Girl, we made it normal to see 50% female participation in mixed gender events.

And finally, thank you.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible core team of RCR & the allies such as Lahore Runners, FTC, Islamabad Running Club, Run For Coffee, Lums Run Club, Super Girls Pakistan and so many others. What we are today is because of the collective hard work!

Let's keep rising. by @run_comrade_run
