Participating in the 13th Edition of the Ladakh Marathon on September 13, 2026, was the realization of a long-awaited dream. Running at an altitude of over 11,000 feet surrounded by the majestic Himalayas was an unforgettable experience. The crisp mountain air, clear blue skies, and supportive energy across Leh made every kilometer special. From Choglamsar, Shey, to Thiksey, runners filled every corner of Ladakh, creating an electric and inspiring atmosphere.

Crossing the finish line this Sunday was an absolute celebration of grit, heart, and community!
Months of early morning alarms, endless training blocks, and relentless miles all led up to this moment. Standing at the finish line, feeling the weight of the effort give way to pure joy, reminded me why we push ourselves to these limits.

Today wasn't the race I trained for,but it was the race I needed. my legs gave out way before the finish line did and the clock didn't show the numbers, I wanted. But when things went south , I didn't head for the sidelines- I kept moving.

It wasn't pretty and it definitely wasn't fast, but 42 km is 42 km. Proud of the fight even if the finish looked a little different than the plan by @run_dc14
