Grateful to the Fresno City College, FCA Rams for inviting me to speak and share my testimony at their huddle!💛
.
Our topic: “Fuel Your Body, Feed Your Faith.” 💪✝️
.
As athletes, we discipline our bodies to compete at our best, but are we nourishing our souls with the same intention? We explored how caring for our bodies and feeding our spirits with God’s Word helps us honor Him in every area of our lives.✨
.
📖 “I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you.” -Psalm 63:1
.
The goal isn’t just to become stronger athletes, but to become stronger in Christ. Our identity isn’t found in our performance, but in the One we play for. Let every game, every race, and every opportunity bring glory to God! 🙌
.

Key Scriptures:✨

* 1 Corinthians 6:19–20: Honor God with your body.
* 1 Corinthians 6:12: Not everything is beneficial.
* Romans 12:1: Offer your body as a living sacrifice.
* Psalm 63:1: Thirsting for God and longing for His presence.

❤️🎃 17 Years of Love, Friendship & Adventure! 🎃❤️
.
This past Saturday, we celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary! ✨
.
As anniversary gifts to each other, we had an incredible glassblowing artist, Eric Dandurand in Harmony, California, create two custom, gorgeous glass pumpkins with iridescent accents. 🎃✨
.
Pumpkins are such a fitting gift for this season of our marriage. They symbolize abundance, gratitude, and the beauty of the harvest, a reminder that the best things in life grow with time, patience, and care. Just like our love, marriage is a journey of growing together, weathering every season, and appreciating the beautiful life God continues to cultivate in us. ✨🙏🏽
.
I am SO very blessed to be married to my best friend, my teammate, and my partner in this beautiful adventure called life. Seventeen years down, and I wouldn’t want to run this race with anyone else! ✨

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9
.
This weekend, we were reminded that courage and service go hand in hand. 💙
.
We’re grateful for those who serve in law enforcement and as first responders, your sacrifice, courage, and compassion inspire us.✨
.
But service isn’t only for those in uniform.
.
➡️ Every one of us is called to serve.
At work. In our churches. In our communities. In our homes.
.
Wherever God has placed you, serve with courage, lead with faith, and love others well.🙏
.
Be Bold in Faith. 💙

A special thank you to Matt Markarian, Executive Director of Fresno Police & Fire Chaplaincy, for sharing such an empowering and inspiring testimony. Your words reminded us of what it truly means to lead through faith, serve others, and have the courage to step into the places God has called us. 💙✨
.
We’re especially grateful for all of our law enforcement officers, first responders, chaplains, families, and friends who serve our community with courage, compassion, and a servant’s heart.💙✨

The setback after the Ventura Marathon has been tough.
.
The waiting has been difficult.
But God continues to lead me.
And I continue to trust Him. 🙏🏽✝️
.
Today, I praise my King for 10 miles.
Ten miles I’ve waited for.
Ten miles I prayed for.
Ten miles I lift back to Him.
.
9 weeks of PT done. 5 more to go. 💪🏽

I may not know when I’ll race again, but I know Who is leading me there.
.
And when He calls me back to the starting line,
I will praise Him, not just for the race, but for every step that brought me there.
.
For His patience.
For His grace.
For His love.
.
Thank you to my Bandolera, Nicole for sharing the miles with me this morning 🩷
.
All glory to God! 🙌🏽✝️

A huge thank you to everyone who laced up and joined us for the FCA Running Club x Run Well x Campaign of Hope collaboration!💛

Together, we brought our community, faith, and footsteps together to lift up those in the midst of their healing journeys. Through prayer, fellowship, and the powerful mission of the Campaign of Hope, we showed that no one walks or runs their battle alone.💜
.
How You Can Keep Supporting:

Wear the Mission: Grab gear from @pw_clothing03’s Campaign of Hope line—proceeds go directly toward assisting local cancer warriors with treatment costs, groceries, and gas.🩵

Give Directly: Support families in need via Cash App ($IAL23) or Venmo (@lionel-jefferson).💚

Stay Connected: Keep keeping our local warriors in your daily prayers!🧡
.
Thank you Pastor Lionel Jefferson for your powerful testimony and to everyone who made this morning so special. 🩷
.
Together, through Jesus Christ, we give strength to those healing! ✝️✨
