New in RUNALYZE: Injury & Sickness Tracking
Training data tells only part of the story. Recovery, injuries, and illnesses often have the biggest impact on your performance.

With RUNALYZE's new Injury & Sickness Tracking, you can:
✅ Log injuries and illnesses with start and end dates
✅ Track affected body parts and symptoms
✅ Add notes about treatments, recovery progress, or setbacks
✅ Record daily pain levels and monitor trends over time
✅ Keep a complete health history alongside your training data
Whether you're dealing with a minor cold, recovering from a knee injury, or managing recurring issues, RUNALYZE helps you connect your health status with your training journey.

Because understanding why performance changes is just as important as tracking the numbers behind it.

🚧 MCP Server – Work in Progress

We're building the Runalyze MCP server to bring your training data to the tools you already use.

The project is still in development, but if you're a Runalyze Premium user and use Claude, you can already start testing it today.

The MCP server allows AI assistants to securely access your Runalyze data, opening up new possibilities for training analysis and insights.

Interested in trying it out?

👉 Credentials are available at:runalyze.com/settings/mcp

We're looking forward to your feedback as we continue building and improving the integration.

⛰️ Turn the map green.
Your activities tell you where you’ve been. Your Peaks shows you what’s still waiting.
Runalyze matches the climbs from your activities with around one million real-world peaks from OpenStreetMap and turns them into your personal peak collection:
🟢 Green = climbed
🔴 Red = still waiting
Explore your home region, revisit your favorite mountain area, or zoom into your next destination. The map shows your progress for exactly the area you’re looking at.
And yes… once you start seeing those red triangles, it’s surprisingly hard to ignore them. 👀

How green is your map?

Your all-time maximum was set in your best season. But what if that season was five years, one injury or one overtraining block ago?

Until now, your ATL/CTL percentages in Runalyze always referred to that all-time peak, and after a break they could stay stuck at 40 % forever.
Now you decide what 100 % means:

→ All-time maximum (still the default)
→ Maximum since a start date, your personal day 0
→ Maximum of the last X days, rolling and self-updating
→ Manual maximum, fixed values you set yourself

Plus an optional quantile to ignore single outliers, combinable with every mode.
One setting, applied everywhere: dashboard, shape chart, recovery status and performance model.

Find it under Settings → Calculations → Training load.

Thanks to everyone who asked for this in our feature request forum. Swipe through to see how it works.

Import your full Garmin history

Garmin's live sync only reaches back 5 years for activities and 2 years for health data. That's a limit of Garmin's API — not a limit on your actual data. Everything you've ever recorded is still sitting in your Garmin account.

Now you can bring all of it into Runalyze by requesting your Garmin data export and uploading it directly:

• Activities
• Sleep
• Resting heart rate
• Blood pressure
• HRV

Swipe through for how it works, and find the full write-up on our blog (link in bio).

“Running isn’t just sport. It’s freedom, therapy, and me-time.”
Sometimes you run to improve your fitness. Sometimes you run to chase a PB.

And sometimes?

You run because an hour on the road or trail is exactly what you needed.

Not every run needs a performance goal. 💚

“It’s not about being the best. It’s about being better than you were yesterday.”
There will always be someone faster.

So instead of comparing your run with somebody else’s, compare it with the runner you used to be.

Your pace. Your fitness. Your journey. Your data.

That’s the progress that matters. 📊

🧪 New free tool: Lactate step-test analysis

Got a lactate test done and walked away with just one threshold number? Here's the catch: that number depends heavily on which calculation method was used — and labs rarely tell you.

Our new tool takes your step-test stages, fits one lactate curve through all the points, and reads all 13 published methods directly off it — fairly comparable, because every method uses the exact same curve.

What you get:
✅ Aerobic & anaerobic threshold (LT1/LT2) in pace, speed, or watts — with heart rate
✅ Your three training zones, drawn straight onto the curve
✅ A robustness check: 1000 Monte-Carlo refits + leave-one-out, so you can see how stable each estimate really is
✅ Plausibility warnings when your test protocol has issues
✅ Running & cycling support (km/h, min/km, mph, min/mi, m/s, watts)

Free, no account needed — and your data never leaves the browser, the entire analysis runs client-side.

“Consistency beats motivation.”
Motivation is great when it shows up.

The problem? It doesn’t always show up.

A sustainable routine will take you further than waiting for the perfect mood, perfect weather or perfect training day.

Build habits. Let motivation be the bonus. ✅

We’re planning the official Runalyze mobile app — and before we define the scope of v1, we want to know what really matters to you.

What should be available from day one?

📊 **Dashboard:** Which values and insights should you see immediately after opening the app?

🏃 **Activities:** What information do you check most often? Which activity data should you be able to edit directly in the app?

🛠️ **Tools:** Which Runalyze tools and analyses do you use regularly and wouldn’t want to miss on mobile?

Is there anything else that would make the app genuinely useful for you — or something that would be a dealbreaker if missing?

Tell us how you would use the Runalyze app in the comments 👇 by @runalyze
