soaking it all in ☀️🌷

hello may! april sure flew by—we celebrated dog mama’s bday month, explored new places, and sniffed lots of flowers! SO MANY FLOWERS! 💐 it always feels like spring is here and gone before you know it, so we’re trying to savor every moment. 💛 by @runarchierun

hobbies include long walks on the beach with our dogs 🌴

exactly one year ago, on the day before our wedding, we woke up before sunrise to take engagement photos at the beach. in true hawaiian fashion, it even sprinkled a bit during our shoot. did you know rain is a considered a blessing in hawaii? 🌧️ and then, we ended the morning with some beach zoomies 🌈

365 days since our pawrents got married! 💍

archie + remi are a big parts of our lives, and we couldn’t have imagined not having them by our sides on the biggest day of our lives. it was the absolute best day for our little fam, & our wedding was a truly a reflection of our love for them 💛

here are some special ways we incorporated them:
• wedding stationery 💌
• dog-friendly venue @sunsetranchhawaii 🌅
• we took them on their morning walk to the beach and got ready together @ritzcarltonoahuturtlebay
• first looks & lots and lots of photos 📷
• welcome sign by @melissajoydesign 🪧 they’re wearing leis 🥹
• dog dad walked archie and remi down the aisle to “somewhere over the rainbow” 🌈
• we had the most amazing & dog-loving officiant @marry_me_hawaii, who included some special words about archie and remi during the ceremony
• they stood by our sides, just like they always do. remi looking up at us as we exchanged rings was the most precious moment ever 😭
• signature drinks with edible drink toppers of our faces 🍹
• pawrent dances: dog dad/daughter & dog mom/son dance to “better together” 🎶
• dog wedding cake: @dogtownbakerykailua 🎂

felt SOOOO welcomed with this goodie bag 🥰

when the bed passes the dog check ✔️

they sure understand a dog’s love language here 😋

best perk for the humans? dog friendly dining at @santomezcal_sb, right at the hotel! one less thing to plan 😋

pulpo las brasas, ahi tuna ceviche, & mole poblano 🍴all soooo delicious! @santomezcal_sb

short stroll to the waterfront and wharf! 🌊

keep palm & carry on 🌴

our own little outdoor retreat 🌿

dog dad took advantage of the hotel’s complimentary bike rentals. best way to explore sb 🚲

belly up = the ultimate sign of comfort 😴

love the terrace lounges here 😌

it’s been fun! 👋🏽 thanks for hosting us @rivierabeachhousesb 💛 by @runarchierun

a little summer getaway at @rivierabeachhousesb ☀️

we’ve been overdue for a summer trip. we usually don’t travel much this season due to the heat, but santa barbara was the perfect escape. it’s an easy drive for a weekend trip, with cool coastal weather. 🌊

we checked into @rivierabeachhousesb, right in the heart of santa barbara. we loved being able to walk to the beach, stearns wharf, and the funk zone. there’s so much to explore, without having to drive anywhere! 🐾🏝️

since archie & remi are getting older, taking breaks is a must. it was nice being able to pop back to the hotel throughout the day. we loved the laidback coastal feel of the hotel and having so many places to relax, whether on the comfy bed, our private patio, or in one of the many lounge areas. it truly was the perfect place to come back to after exploring. 😴

thanks for being so dog friendly and hosting us @rivierabeachhousesb! 🐶 by @runarchierun
