A special evening celebrating the legacy of Maurice Lucas and the young people carrying that legacy forward. 🏀✨

The @mauricelucasfoundation 16th Annual Celebration was an inspiring evening for student success and supporting opportunities to empower Portland-area youth through education, athletics, and mentorship.

♥️ @raiseagent @johnna_lee @runestoneevents @hyattregencyportlandatocc @blownpdxballoons @ardeneventcollective ♥️

We were proud to be part of this special evening.

Together for Albertina Kerr brought an incredible community together to celebrate the people, partnerships, and opportunities that help build more inclusive communities. From a lively reception to dinner, inspiring stories, and an evening of giving back, every element of the night reflected the impact of Kerr’s work across Oregon. Congratulations @albertina_kerr @fundraisingeventco @artisan_auctions on a wonderful event!

When @willamettedental presented us with this year’s theme, “water,” we were determined to create a design more elevated and unexpected than a traditional undersea look. Drawing inspiration from form, movement, sound, and color, the incredible team behind this event pulled off something truly magical. 💙🌊🩵

The best compliment you can give your vendors is trust. Trust in their vision, their craft, and the space to create. The most beautiful wedding weekends aren’t tightly directed; they’re thoughtfully entrusted.

Every detail you see here comes from a team working in sync: design, draping, lighting, paper, atmosphere, and down to the chef’s menu. None of it is accidental, and none of it is as impactful without creative freedom.

Give your team room to do what they do best, and the result is always something more cohesive, more intentional, and more magical than you could ever ask for.

Oh to love. Oh to be loved.

That’s exactly what it felt like celebrating Janet and Doug. A room full of warmth, steady affection, and the kind of connection that doesn’t need to be loud to be felt. The way they looked at each other said everything, and being surrounded by their people only amplified it.

Something I’d love to see more of in 2026.

Fabric on fabric on fabric. Tablescapes that feel layered, textural, and intentional. When linens, runners, and textures are thoughtfully combined, they add depth and warmth without ever feeling overdone. It’s a design choice that quietly elevates the whole reception and immediately sets the tone for the day.

Your wedding doesn’t just happen. It’s built.. by hands, hearts, timelines, walkie talkies, spreadsheets, coffee runs, quick fixes, and a whole lot of problem-solving you’ll never see.

This is what it looks like behind the scenes: vendors who care, who show up early, stay late, and pour real expertise into making your day feel effortless.

When you invest in experienced professionals, you’re not just hiring services, you’re hiring a team that has your back so you can stay present for the moments that matter most.

Your wedding takes a village. And a damn good one at that.
