Did some Vermonting (and some light New Hampshire-ing) this weekend! Highlights included leaf-peeping🍁, wedding dancing 💃, humidity-free running 🏃🏻‍♀️and consuming various yummy dairy and apple cider-based products 🍦🧀. Introducing Peaches PERCephanie Mossford! This happy, foofy girl is officially a member of the family! Her interests include smiling, kiddie pools, hiding toys in the couch cushions, treats, and cuddling! Just a few weeks ago we traveled to Boston for the marathon. We were delighted to see the city full of golden retrievers to remember and celebrate Spencer, longtime official race course dog cheerleader, and raise awareness for canine cancer, which claimed Spencer's life last year. Little did we know we'd be coming home to our own canine cancer worst-case scenario. Our all too brief time with Percy demonstrated to us that the joy, comfort, and unconditional love dogs give to humans is deserving only of a life free of pain and suffering. Today we made a donation to the @morrisanimalfoundation Stop Cancer Furever research fund in memory of Percifus Anthony Fauci Mossford, and in honor of all the amazing humans in our lives who showed us such great love and comfort as we said goodbye to our most loyal and handsome friend. We said goodbye to our silly, sensitive, handsome PercPup this morning. We’re heartbroken by the loss of our loyal napping companion, gallant defender from lawnmowers and thunderstorms, and all-around best boy, but so grateful for all the unconditional love, comfort, and joy he gave us in the three years he was our dog. Many thanks to our wonderful friends and family for checking in on us, feeding us, hugging us, and crying with us this week.
