Inside the Local Loop - Q Life explores this new running community initiative that supports local Doha businesses. 🏃🏾‍♂️

Fennec Track Club stopped by South Madina Khalifa Bakery, Doha’s oldest bakery, proudly serving the community since 1979. A local institution at the heart of the neighbourhood, bringing people together long before the run began. taken in Doha by @runfennec

FTC ATHLETE OF THE MONTH 🦊
Some people make a community. @_indrofovian_ is one of them.

She’s been here since day one.. not chasing times, not chasing attention. Just showing up, every single week, and making the evening better for everyone around her.

She’s the laugh you hear before the warm-up starts.. the one checking on you after a tough session.. the first to offer a hand, a ride, a word of encouragement. Ask anyone in the group and they’ll have an Astrid story.

Thank you for the energy, the kindness, and for reminding us why we run together. This one’s yours. 👏🦊 taken in Doha, State of Qatar by @runfennec

The Local Loop ❤️‍🔥🏃🏾‍♂️

Doha’s small businesses are the heart of this city.. the cafes, bakeries and restaurants we grew up with and love are built by people from our own community.. so we’re doing something about it..

Introducing The Local Loop, a new monthly initiative where the running community comes together to support a local business in Doha.. Each month we pick a different local spot, run in loop, and then head over to show them some love.

Our first stop: South Madina Khalifa Bakery since 1979, the oldest bakery in Doha.

What to expect:
🏃 An easy, social run around the bakery. (all levels and all paces welcome, nobody gets left behind)
🤝 Time to meet new runners and connect with the community
📸 Photos and good vibes

The details:
📅 Saturday, October 3rd
📍 South Madina Khalifa Bakery
⏰ 6am, please arrive 10 minutes early. taken in Doha, State of Qatar by @runfennec
