this saturday will be 5 years since i last had a drink. for those who don’t know about me, summer of 2021 the drs diagnosed me with cirrhosis of the liver caused by alcohol abuse. they said i had end stage liver disease and needed a liver transplant ASAP or i would die. and if i continued to drink then it would happen sooner. on that day i was like a child staring at a giant with only two options … flee or pick up a stone and fight, i chose to fight 🤍 by @runjosephrun

i smile and think back to myself “look at me now”

5yrs ago, i was a dead man walking. now im a running miracle 😇
