Medal Monday !!!🏅

It's official....after 5 years, I'm back to my hometown marathon!! Los Angeles Marathon !!!

It's has been an emotional training from the moment I registered.

I was coming back as a mom to a 5 year old boy... Clark's mom.

I never stopped running during this time, but my running journey had a different meaning. I wasn't chasing a PR, I was chasing myself during those years that I didn't participate in a running event.

As I was running LAM, I realized I belong at the course... is what makes my soul happy, crying with all kinds of emotions rushing in me.

My body reminds me of all the miles, especially my knees...it's not easy.... it takes consistency, dedication, focusing, and tons of mental training.

Thank you to my family for the support...to my running friends for the support... to the new running buddies I made and encourage me.

LA Marathon is dedicated to my son, who constantly tells me I'm a winner .... I hope we get to run it together 🥹🤗💐🙏🏻🏅❤️‍🔥
