Where Boston Marathoners are made. On Tuesday I was accepted to the 2027 Boston Marathon field for the third year in a row. I can tell you in full honesty I used to be awestruck looking at other runners profiles who had the BQs stacked up and the Boston Marathon finishes to match and thought "that will never be me" ... until I found myself nailing my first 2 BQs in 2024 in marathons less than 2 months apart and crossing the finish line of Boston 129 in April 2025. I now have 5 BQs and have ran 16 marathons. When someone asks me what my favorite one is, there is no contest. Nothing compares to the Boston experience. I love the course, the crowd, the city itself and will continue to chase unicorns until the end of time. If you're reading this and am where I once was, my advice to you is KEEP SHOWING UP. Your best is going to look different each day and you must be bigger than the excuses. Energy and persistence conquer all things. ❤️

Boston, I cannot wait to see you again in April. And I can't wait to take this same picture next year on the Roberto Clemente Bridge 🖤💛 with 3 medals! 🏅🏅🏅 Let's THREEPEAT, baby!!! 🦄🦄🦄

🌵 AMBASSADOR ANNOUNCEMENT 🌵

In December 2024, I ran the Tuscon Marathon for the first time. It was my 7th marathon. I will never forget those first few miles ~ one foot in front of the other, as the sun was rising in the beautiful desert, with the majestic saguaros on either side of me for as far as my eyes could see. An image and feeling of bliss burned in my soul forever. 🏜🥰

Tuscon had been on my travel bucket list for so long and it did not disappoint. I fell in love with the Santa Catalina Mountains, Saguaro National Park, and the Oro Valley and have dreamed of returning ever since. Being selected as an ambassador for the inaugural Tuscon Marathon Ambassador Team is a great joy to me as it aligns with my core value of encouraging others to keep showing up every day and to follow their dreams, and I'm even more proud to represent the great city of Pittsburgh in the process! 🖤💛 I am ecstatic to share my training journey to another 26.2 [ #13 loading ] with yinz over the coming months and to be part of YOURS! Together, let's lift one another 🆙️ and run all the miles, with that finish line in mind! ❤️🏁
