Walking during the marathon…

Man I was feeling great in the beginning of the race but decided to walk the back half because I was in PAIN! My feet were hurting and the pain kept increasing. The hills definitely caught up.

Even though I did not have the greatest race, running through Sydney was absolutely stunning. The views from the bridge, hearing the crowds throughout, and finishing at the Opera House, I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Thank God, I was healthy starting the race and finishing the race without a severe injury.

Sydney, Australia you are amazing and looking forward to getting another opportunity to race this course again. I’ll be ready next time! @sydney_marathon

NYU Langone Health Hyrox NY | Second Hyrox

Recently graduated and was indecisive about doing this year’s Hyrox because of the minimal training. Decided to send it and train hard for about 2 weeks (definitely not enough time haha).

The goal was to try and complete sub-2 hours but my body had other plans. Right calf completely cramped on the last run and had to walk majority of it. On top of that, it was HOT 🥵

We didn’t hit the goal and that’s okay! I decided to do Hyrox in scrubs to acknowledge all nurses and healthcare workers. Don’t know if I’ll ever do it in them again haha.

Congrats to everyone who raced in that heat and thank you to all the volunteers and judges!
