Had my last long run today for my training plan. I did a lot of reflection on it. It’s crazy to think I started my running journey May 2025 and now I am about to run my first marathon in October! It’s been a crazy journey but one I am so glad I made the choice to go on.

I am excited to be in Chicago in less than two weeks! My goal is to finish the marathon! Time doesn’t matter as long as I cross that finish line 💪🏽

🏳️‍🌈San Diego Pride🏳️‍🌈 came and went! I had so much fun this weekend. I caught up with friends, made new friends, ran the 5k and got to see Marina perform live. I had so much fun and cannot wait until next year!

Took this week off from training to let my body recover. Now, it’s time to start training for the Chicago Marathon! I completed a half, I know that if I put in the work, I’ll be able to complete the full marathon!

Happy Global Running Day!
I can truly say that running has changed my life for the better. It’s taught me more discipline, how to push myself when I don’t want to do something that needs to get done, and to just let myself feel things in the moment. It’s been an emotional journey with this crazy ass hobby I’ve gotten into. I can say I am proud of how far I’ve come with it and there’s only going up from here to accomplish more in this sport!

Finished my last run of my training block for @runrocknroll ! I am certainly nervous for this race, but the excitement is taking over. The training was the hardest part but now I get to just have fun! 💪🏽

Went to @breakawayrunclub_ over the weekend and I honestly had so much fun! It was my first run club experience and the vibes were nothing more than welcoming! It was nice to be able to run with some of the @sandiegorebellion players! Met some amazing people and I’m excited for the next one!

Race day is getting closer and closer! @runrocknroll is on May 31st and I’m super excited! Training has been rough and today wasn’t my best but I forced myself to run up hills to prepare for the half marathon!
