HOW IT WORKS! With launch day so close, we’re releasing our NEW season info-graphic containing everything you need to know about the initiative. We’d love to see this shared far and wide over the coming days as well as through the season. We’d urge clubs and individuals to use in WhatsApp groups and across their own social media (we’ll happily send across). Also NEW FOR 2026, we’ve got physical advertising material we can provide for clubs to display and for us to distribute at events across the year! LET’S GO by @runs4research_
💜 R4R x CLFTF 🩵 We’re excited to announce a brand new collaboration with @lessons.from.the.field, a book penned by former first class cricketer @c.f.hartley This book is aimed at 5-10 year olds but the premise is relevant for all ages. Anyone who has played sport will have learnt new skills and/or life lessons while participating. 💷1️⃣7️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣✅ Massive thanks to ‘Super Legacy’ participant @cally__bird whose fundraising efforts for his first half marathon have seen us ‘cross the line’ of £17k. His contribution was split between us and our friends at @856foundation so if you’re not familiar with their work, definitely check them out! #Runs4Research by @runs4research_
💷1️⃣6️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣✅ Into the £16,000s for the first time ever off the back of a record-breaking week! 237 players still have full balances due so as we approach another month-end, let’s bring that number down and the overall monies raised can continue to rise! #Runs4Research by @runs4research_
Thursday 🔟 We had a record 60 women and girls involved in #Runs4Research in 2026 (up from 56 in 2025). There are some incredibly talented players amongst these, representing their counties at all age groups right through to senior honours in Tier 2 and 3! 💜RECORD BROKEN💜 Following a donation this afternoon, we have now raised more funds for @alzheimersresearchuk in 2026 than any other season. £15,740.14 was the previous record contributed in 2023 but we’ve smashed through that milestone and are projected to raised in excess of £20,000 in 2026 alone. A huge thanks to every player or donor who has helped us this year and in previous seasons! Long may our efforts continue! #Runs4Research by @runs4research_

THURSDAY 🔟 Another new #Runs4Research metric which was properly introduced in 2026 was fielding/keeping dismissals. More than 67% of players accounted for 3,489 ‘’wickets’’ We’re showcasing our Top 10 in this category, dominated by keepers. Some brilliant individual seasons all contributing to the cause! #Runs4Research by @runs4research_
