POSTS STORIES REELS

5 years ago today, I went for a run…

Less than 2km

I struggled up the hills, questioned my life choices, and had no idea that the run my sister convinced me to do during the COVID lockdown would become the start of a whole new chapter

Running wasn’t completely new to me. I’d tried to make it a habit a few times over the years, but with my focus on uni, work and other sports such as competitive cheer, it never really stuck. This time was different as running gave me direction during a time of uncertainty

Since then, it’s been thousands of kilometres, races, friendships, opportunities to help others achieve their goals as a pacer, and memories I’ll treasure forever

But the journey wasn’t always easy

I wasn’t always fast and my progress was never linear. I made mistakes, learned from them, and kept showing up even when it felt hard

If I could tell myself from five years ago just one thing, it would be this:

Trust the process

Because one day, you’ll look back at where you started and realise just how far you’ve come

Day one → One day 💛

Still not over the jet lag and definitely not over the fact that I had the opportunity to pace at the TCS London Marathon just a week ago today. An experience I’ll never forgot ☺️♥️ by @runwithtea

24 Parkruns in 24 Hours

3 weeks ago @jasonfreeeman_ convinced me to do this crazy Parkrun challenge in a moment of tiredness and delusion. I laughed but agreed to take it on. This challenge is something I’ve heard of but something I wouldn’t have considered doing so soon

24 hours and 120km run on:
- 1000g+ carbs
- 10000mg sodium
- 10L+ fluids
- 180,000+ steps
- no sleep
- 4 outfits changes
- Multiple moments questioning life choices
- More wees in a bush then actual toilets
- 24 times saying ‘It’s just a Parkrun’

Through all of that we got it done… ran 24 Parkruns in 24 hours. I also became 1 of 2 women to first successfully complete the NSW edition of this challenge in the 3 years it has run. Also pushed my distance PB from 45km (2024 6ft) to 120km

My legs are sore, vibes are high and still comprehending how I even managed to achieve such a feat. Maybe one day I’ll eventually crack into the backyard ultra scene but for now it’s time to focus on recovery and let this achievement sink in 🙌 by @runwithtea

Spartan Stadion 2026

First time competing in AG at a Spartan event. The rain and the added sand bag carry at the start added to the challenge. The muscles are still bit sore but otherwise recovering well with @perskindol_au
