Farewell, Sam Neill... Some actors leave behind memorable performances. Others leave behind a part of our childhood. To me, Sam Neill did both. As a gamer growing up in the 1990s, I was endlessly fascinated by Dr. Alan Grant. He wasn't just the courageous and brilliant paleontologist who guided us through the wonders and terrors of Jurassic Park—he also became one of my favorite video game heroes. Whether I was exploring Isla Nublar in Ocean Software's unforgettable Jurassic Park on the Super Nintendo, surviving the unique adventures on the Sega Mega Drive, or taking the journey with me on the Sega Game Gear, Alan Grant was always there. Every version offered a different experience, yet they all carried the spirit of the character Sam Neill brought to life so perfectly. For me, those games were never just licensed adaptations. They were an extension of the film's magic, and Sam Neill's portrayal was at the very heart of that magic. His talent reached far beyond dinosaurs. His unforgettable performances in Event Horizon and John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness proved the incredible range of an actor who could be equally compelling in science fiction, horror, and drama. He had a rare ability to make every character feel intelligent, human, and believable. Losing Sam Neill would feel like losing an entire chapter of my childhood. Through his performances, countless adventures on screen, and the memories I created with a controller in my hands, he became part of a generation's imagination. Thank you, Sam Neill, for the adventures, the wonder, the courage, and the memories. Life found a way... and so will your legacy. #samneill #jurassicpark #sega #nintendo by @rupegaming
Do you think there is any positive with everything going digital with Playstation? I've only seen people upset about it....to be clear if you know me I am also upset about it lol . So many videos talking about PlayStation not going forward after 2028 with physical disks so figured I would join in 😂 . I think we all knew this would come one day so it's no surprise. It does stink though. . #playstation #videogames #disks #sony #gamingcommunity by @rupegaming

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!!!💙🌴🔵🦔 Today let’s celebrate the 35years of our beloved blue blur!!!!🌀🌀🌀 On June 23rd 1991 a brand new blue storm appeared on our screens, changing forever the face of video games! Who wasn’t astonished by the crazy speed and the stunning graphics of this game? It was the very beginning of a long story for our famous hedgehog who still happens to surprise us! So let's wish him a long career, with beautiful new releases! One thing is sure, Sonic will never be forgotten ! Long live Sonic!!!💙🔵🌴 Through this post I also want to thank my teammates, my good friends who never gave up on me💙🫶: A big THANK YOU to @mc_retro_videogamer @ultimategamersvault @gamerrama_23 @yeahthatsretro @rupegaming Of course I don’t forget all my other partners! Guys I cannot tag you all, but a bit thanks to all of you🫶 For those who want to ask me about AI: YES i used AI on that post, but only for small details. Mostly I worked on that post so please don’t blame me for using AI as a simple tool. Here somebody worked hard on that setup and picture so thanks for respecting it 😉 The picture by the way is an arrangement of the official Sega birthday picture, but I thought it was unfair not to wish a happy birthday to Sonic’s best antagonist : Dr Eggman/Robotnik #sega #Sonic #happybirthday🎂 by @rupegaming
