Battle Chasers! One of my fav comics of all time, I drew this double page spread for Comics Curing Cancer to help raise money to battle cancer. This is my third year drawing for them, and I’m so happy to be able to draw one of my fav franchises. I did line work with colors by the incredible @ghostmonsterz ! Stop by table AA-1766 at HereosCon to get a copy and help the fight against cancer! @comicscuringcancer @joemadx by @rushbrookdraws

I know I’m a little behind on my annual Mushtober this month, but I’ve been so busy with other projects and comics. With that said, here’s the 1st ink art piece in the 31 days of Mushtober, Batman! No prompts, just drawing what comes to mind. Drawn in my sketchbook, Pentel Ink brush with Micron 1.0 pen. These will be quick inked pieces, whenever I can get to them. More to come! #mushtober #drawtober #Inktober #comics #art by @rushbrookdraws

Received this sketch book from Dan Fraga @couchdoodles yesterday in the mail, and I gotta say, the paper in it is pretty good. 🙂 Did some quick doodles last night, really like the feel of sketching and inking on it. Thanks Dan, I love it! #drawing #art #artist by @rushbrookdraws

I have to say, I’m honored to be a founder/member of the Augusta Design Society. Last night, our first event was a success and a blast! I don’t talk too much about my daily life or day job, but wanted to share my passion for design here today. More great things to come!

We’ve pulled up our chairs. Now we’re waiting for you at the table.

This summer, a group of your fellow local designers came together around a simple idea: the CSRA deserves a stronger, more connected design community.

Those conversations became the Augusta Design Society (ADS), a new nonprofit bringing together professional graphic designers and design students to connect, learn, collaborate, and grow.

Now, we’re inviting you to join us and help shape what ADS becomes.

Drop in for our first ADS Design Social between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. for light refreshments, fun activities, and a chance to connect with fellow designers around a shared table. EVENT LINK IN BIO

Here's the finished Absolute Batman commission I was working on. Alcohol markers, color pencils, acrylic paint markers, pencil and inks, all traditional art. Finished this weeks ago, just now posting it. The client loved it! 9x12 Vellum Bristol board. #dccomics #batman #absolutebatman #art by @rushbrookdraws

I still have yet to receive an update on the preview books, but with the new campaign so close to launch I decided to refund the preview books ordered. Instead, I will be repurposing that beautiful @rushbrookdraws art as a variant cover for The Wraith Crown Issue #1. It will also be available as a metal virgin cover and even an 11 x 17 poster!

Make sure you’re signed up for the @kickstarter campaign so you can make this yours!
