Pic 1 - Me on a bomb 🌊 1.35 seconds to go… and I lost priority, took a smaller wave, and it cost me — going from winning the Scottish Open title to finishing runner-up.I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty disappointed as Iv been feeling really strong in my surfing — but that’s competition. Sometimes it comes down to luck; the right wave at the right time, or the wrong one at the wrong time.At 15, I’m proud of the result- and proud I got the highest heat total & highest score throughout the ladies event I dont surf Thurso East that often. It’s all learning, and I’ll take a lot from this. Next winter I want to get up there more and learn the wave - would be great to see more of the girls getting comfortable up there 🏄‍♀️ Big shoutout to all the girls who competed — it’s such a tricky wave when you don’t know where to sit, and can be pretty intimidating when it’s big - huge respect to all the girls who took it on 💪🏄‍♀️Well done to Pheobe for taking the win 🥇 Already looking forward to next year!
