MICHELLE “I have always been drawn to the three transcendentals: truth, beauty and goodness — and to the idea that the things we find truly beautiful so often contain something of the other two. Perhaps that is why jewellery has never been merely adornment to me. My story with it began with loss, and over the years it became a way of giving memory something tangible — of carrying fragments of the past into the present, of marking the people we love, the lives we build, and the quiet passage of one generation into another. Gold and stones endure. But what gives them meaning is what we ask them to remember. That is what I found in Russel & Rose. Their pieces have become part of the language in which I tell my own story — sometimes deeply personal, sometimes sentimental, and sometimes chosen for no reason more complicated than the delight of encountering something beautiful that feels unmistakably mine. I love the individuality of their designs, their sense of permanence, and the wonderfully human touch behind what they create. Being invited to wear my own pieces for these photographs feels especially meaningful because they were mine before the camera found them. They already carried a story. Perhaps that is where the three transcendentals meet for me: truth in what we remember, goodness in what we cherish, and beauty in the things we choose to carry with us. And every now and then, all three can be found in gold. My story with Russel & Rose is only just beginning.” - @thelady_yazbek Quotations via website and e-mail only:

BELLA “From the very beginning, Bella has been my girl, my wingman, and one of my greatest joys. I always knew that the little girl beside me would grow into a spectacular woman — beautiful not only in the way she looks, but in the way she lives her life. Bella and I share a warm, loving and deeply respectful relationship. She has a quiet strength about her — an understated courage and conviction that I find incredibly inspiring. She values tradition, cherishes meaningful relationships, and leads with a kindness that never fails to touch me. And then there’s her wicked sense of humour, her adventurous spirit and that wonderfully tenacious streak that makes her so uniquely Bella. She is a loving daughter, sister and wife, and a woman of immense loyalty, integrity and heart. Watching her grow into the woman she is today has filled me with an enormous sense of pride. But one of the greatest blessings of our relationship is that, as much as I have taught her, I continue to learn from her. Spending time with Bella, sharing life with her and seeing the world through her eyes is something I treasure deeply. I can’t wait to see where this gentle, capable, courageous and beautiful woman takes herself next. Wherever life leads her, I know she will leave it a little better, a little kinder and a lot more joyful. And I will always be incredibly proud to call her my daughter.” - @natalieamiller Quotations via website and e-mail only:

NATALIE AND BELLA “My mother is the quiet compass by which I have learnt the world. My confidant, the voice I reach for when the road feels unfamiliar. From her, I learnt that kindness is strength, and that a life of meaning is woven through the quiet gestures by which we show up for others. There is always a laughter between us that leaves the rest of our sentences unfinished. I have spent my lifetime becoming, only to find so much of her already there. Perhaps that is her greatest gift: showing me the way, while leaving pieces of her light along the path.” - @bellaacohen “Two extraordinary women, Natalie and Bella, whose connection exudes a lot of love and humour not to mention magic. The afternoon with them was sheer joy - the shared laughter, knowing glances and the ease of authenticity, truly memorable! Thank you for sharing your beautiful energy with us.” - Lisa Michél Quotations via website and e-mail only:
