Working on a full squad kit of heavy demonic troopers with swappable parts, cast in polyurethane. Even shoulder pads will be swappable between the arms. The same level and ease of customization and kitbashing that we had back in 1999– before they started slicing minis all to hell with a computer program to fit them on sprues more cheaply 😭 by @rustbeltminis

The first steps in making a large squad kit of interchangeable parts for kitbashing or just building as is. These will be heavy foot soldiers on 40mm bases. Probably going to make a sci-fi and fantasy version of the kit. Expect it sometime in 2027 😁 by @rustbeltminis

Used some homemade sculpting tools to do this one, like a quilting pin crimped into a small metal tube I had lying around. Goddang, small minis are small! This’ll be my first real attempt at making regular dude-sized minis instead of the big stuff I’m used to doing. I didn’t want to compromise my ultra textured style just because it’s small so this took me awhile 😅 Probably why I never wanted to start this project before now but here I go! #grimdarkminiatures by @rustbeltminis

Working on a fantasy/horror giant for ttrpgs and mini wargames whenever I’m taking a break from making the resin casts to get my Kickstarter rewards fulfilled. I don’t know how long the super detailed trunk, bark, lichen and fungus putty work is going to take but we’ll see! This is going to be on a 130mm round base and should be just a bit taller than my other giant sculpt, The Gifter of Sight, the rotting demigod. Resin casts of this one will be available in uh…2027? 😁 The eye is just a resin cast placeholder for the one I have planned. The little dude I used for scale is from @miscast.co and @smash_bash by @rustbeltminis

Instead of waiting for the Kickstarter funds to clear first, I threw a huge bulk materials order on a credit card so I could get right into production. Should be able to pay it back before the fees hit. Not the smartest idea but hey, neither is any of this! 😁 Working hard to get these made and shipped out to folks in the near future! Thanks again to everyone who supported my wacky art project, whether it was backing it for minis, sharing it, or just commenting “No, bro! Please stop!” 🙂 Can’t wait to see what everyone does with these! Stay tuned for more weird stuff that this awesome community keeps enabling 👹 by @rustbeltminis
