So excited to share that I received First Place in the Three-Dimensional category at the Queeny Art Fair!

I came showing the full range of my fiber art practice, wearable + non-wearable, and to have my work recognized in this way feels SO GOOD. 🥹🤎

So much was accomplished this Black History Month! Although our AMAZING exhibition is coming to a close @neimanmarcusstlouis, the impact we made as a collective & individual creatives will last a lifetime!
We took up space, we represented & we nurtured our brands/businesses!

The change we've been wanting is not coming...it is here! Thank you for your continued support & stay tuned for more!

Aileen Woods is a St. Louis-based multidisciplinary artist, eco-designer, and founder of Rustik Rich Designs. Through a biophilic lens, she reimagines discarded and earth-derived elements, merging form and function through wearable art, anchoring interiors with sculptural expression, and bringing conceptual public art to life.
A lifelong creative who forged her own artistic path, Aileen challenges perceptions of worth, consumption, and possibility. Her methodology deepens our connection to the earth through natural elements, awakening introspection and personal awareness through tactile experiences. She advances handcraft as living knowledge, expanding its relevance in an evolving world.

Still taking it all in. 💚

What an experience being part of @FrizzFest Hair & Fashion Show, bringing together hair, fashion, creativity, culture, community, and an incredible collection of talent. I’m grateful that my work and vision for eco-fashion had a place in that space.

A very special thank you to the @WhisperStyleTeam and Healthy Hair Solutions for the invitation, collaboration, and especially for trusting me with the creative freedom to bring my vision to life. That trust means more than you know.

And to my beautiful model, Jiyah Owens, thank you for trusting my vision and wearing my work with such presence. Watching a design leave my hands and transform on the right person is always special. You brought this look to life, as I knew you would. 💚

I’m so happy to share that I’ve been selected as one of 25 artists for the 2026 St. Louis Artist INC cohort!

This opportunity comes at such an important point in my journey as I continue growing not only as an artist, but as a creative entrepreneur. I’m looking forward to the connections, knowledge, resources, and growth that will come from being part of this cohort.
