Ruston Reign FC rolled into the MFC Rush Fall Classic in Jackson, MS this past weekend and let’s just say, we held our own and didn’t lose too many shin guards & water bottles. The teams played hard, took significant steps toward our Spring goals, and showcased their soccer skills. Meanwhile, Coach Doug Smith showed once again that he’s not just coaching soccer, he’s coaching life and somehow keeping his sanity while managing a squad full of energy and snacks. A special thank you to our families. Even those who couldn’t make the trip stepped up by trusting other parents to transport their players, feed them, hydrate them, and return them in (mostly) the same condition. Teamwork at its finest. Soccer isn’t just a sport… It’s chaos, community, family, and fun all wrapped into one. And as we gear up for winter workouts and a fast-approaching Spring season, we’re excited to keep building something special here in Ruston. Huge thank you to Coach Bri Olson for believing in Ruston’s kids and giving them the chance to develop and compete at a higher level. Your leadership is opening doors and building something special here. Stay tuned as we recognize a few local businesses that stepped up to sponsor the club this year. 🚗⚽ Ruston Reign FC Hits Tyler, TX! ⚽🚗 Our teams had an amazing time traveling to Tyler, TX to compete in the 44th Annual Brookshire’s Fall Kickoff Tournament! We were one of only two clubs representing Louisiana among nearly 300 teams from across Texas. From tough competition to countless smiles, our players made great memories on and off the field.
