Great session this morning with @nikhillvgolf making some very solid progress this week. A little preset drill trying to feel a better set at the top as well as hands more inside on the takeaway. Big win today is with our progress keeping the hips back in the downswing. Much improved! Dialing in for a push this fall! Good luck at the @pgajrleague 17u regional in Arizona! #collegebound #golfaddict #golfishard

Here we can see it in a little more detail. Great set at the top, followed by a much better job of keeping the club in front of the body on the way down allowing the hips to preform more of a sitting motion through impact clearing up plenty of room for an uninfluenced movement through impact. Great stuff.

More of the same. Spine angle stays intact throughout, hips stay back. Impact down and through the shot. Inside-out path. Result: triple-digit apex with a window draw. taken in Painted Desert Golf Club by @rustonsmithgolf

$Something we talk about with some of my competitive juniors is distance control. Anyone that plays competitive golf understands that when you say you have “control” over your ball, that left and right is only a small fraction of that. Distance control is what separates a good player from a great one. Finding ways to change how far a golf ball goes without changing your swing effort or mechanics is one of the most important things you can experiment with and learn in the game. #golfaddict #lvjga #lasvegasgolf #golfpro #1%better taken in Painted Desert Golf Club by @rustonsmithgolf$
