My new album, ‘The Chronicles Of Getback: The Benefits Of Controlled Aggression’ is now streaming on the platform of your choice. This is my first rap album in 15 years and I’m very happy to be back at it.

I am accountable for every sound and lyric. I wrote, produced, recorded and mixed the whole joint here at Nasty Laboratories a.k.a. my house.

I sincerely hope you give this one a listen and it hits you where it needs to. Thanks for your support, y’all. taken in Indianapolis by @rustymk2

BANDCAMP FRIDAY IS TOMORROW. Bandcamp is my favorite place to shop online and Bandcamp Friday is the best day to do it.

On the first Friday of most months Bandcamp waives their usual seller fee and 100% of the money you spend on their lovely site goes directly to the artists.

Check us out here: https://thefrontporchrecords.bandcamp.com

After you stock up on FPR merch, keep searching, you can narrow it down to format of physical media, location, genre. Take a chance on something weird. Pat yourself on the back for supporting independent original music and go have your self a killer weekend.

Find something rad during your search? Tell me about it in the comments. I’ll be searching all day. by @rustymk2

I had a really great night at The Pretender. Got my groove together, babaaaay!

Took it back to when I FIRST started mixing records, y’all. I mean the eaaaaarly days…before I knew what BPM’s were and was just blending by ear and touch.

I was feelin myself and the grooves, so I thought I’d go ahead and blend a coupla joints. Mixing with the rotary dials was a whole trip, but I’m pretty comfortable with the mixer now.

New adventures in sound and feel with your good ol Uncle Nasty every time, buds. This old dog always has some new tricks…and the old ones ain’t so bad either.

See ya at THE GETDOWN!!! 10/17, y’all! @foosie31 @astrotouristmusic @everythingnowband @feeraycarrera and myself settin it OFF! by @rustymk2

Settin up at the gig and was lucky enough to see my good old friend, Nate, proprietor of fine, hand-crafted leather goods at @1979_co. I bought this bag from my guy maaaad early in the game, but I didn’t realize it was the SECOND BAG HE EVER MADE! MANNNNNN, that’s wild! Proud to support my buddy, y’all.

Good brutha even went ahead and fixed the rivet that was making the strap keep twisting on my bag. Copped a new belt while I was here.

Come check 1979.co in the Factory Arts District. Homey’s set up in the Schwitzer Gallery. Shop local! Support the arts! Support your friends! taken in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA by @rustymk2

‘Rabbit’ single is on DSP’s with two B-sides. Get into it!

‘The Chronicles Of Getback: The Benefits Of Controlled Aggression’ is streaming everywhere. If you’re interested in the backstory of this album, see my Highlights. I feel like I did plenty to explain why this album was necessary. I wouldn’t want anyone to be in the dark or be able to misconstrue who and what I am talking about on this one.

There’s CD’s coming of this album, along with a bundle that is too damn good. Prep ya self.

‘10K HRS: Slim’s Revenge’ is the second album I released this year. It’s streaming everywhere, buds. This record was a joy to make. I hope the joy translates to the listeners. There is limited vinyl available for this epic slab of good grooves and real talk from @thefrontporchrecords! Check out their page along and see some of the great stuff they have going on, aside from rocking TOUGH with your Uncle Nasty.

‘The Art Of Politics’ is tomorrow at the Factory Arts District! The artists always step up to the plate for this amazing event. 7 PM start time at the Schwitzer Gallery. I’ll be providing the soundtrack with some big tunes and messsaging.

Saturday night, back at @the.pretender.hifi! If you haven’t visited this remarkable spot in Noblesville, you should fix that! The food is amazing, the service is top-tier, the room feels special and the sound system is one of the greatest you’ll experience around these parts. I’ve started picking some very cool tunes to play for ya, so I hope you get there to check the joint out!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17th at @mousetrapbar! We’re having a big ol GETDOWN for my birthday! @foosie31 @astrotouristmusic @everythingnowband and @feeraycarrera fill out the bill making this one of the illest, most eclectic lineups conceived! Check my Stories for links to buy tickets and don’t miss this show!

It’s @mudkidsforlife! Follow @skittzprobdk and get ready for more action from the Hometown Heroes. That Vault is open and we are crafting plans for more new thangs and happenings.

Mood

I really like my record collection. I like it a bit more now that I’ve got what you’ll see in the next slide here at the crib.
