Boulder Basin, Idaho. Some folks call it the hardest trail in the state.

@epicadventureduo made the run up to Basin Lake and the old mining ghost town at the top. Hard enough in one spot that even they had to break out the winch, which does not happen often. Worth every bit of the effort for a view like that.

Old iron deserves to stay on the trail, not in a barn.

Whether you are keeping a Wagoneer, a CJ, an old Cherokee, or any classic Jeep alive, we have been building parts to keep them running and wheeling for going on 49 years. Suspension, steering, bumpers, and armor, all made in the USA and built to take a beating.

This is what a long-arm upgrade actually gets you.

Longer control arms with relocated mounts flatten out your suspension geometry, and that changes everything: more articulation on the trail, a smoother ride on the road, and less of that binding, jerky feel a tall short-arm lift can have.

When even your Jeep knows it is October.

@goldmemberxj says it is finally fall and his gold XJ needs a set of our flares next. We like the way he thinks. Steel high-clearance fenders give you the tire room and the protection, and they make a clean Cherokee look downright mean. Be warned though, that extra clearance will likely lead to bigger tires, bigger obstacles and bigger smiles!

Our 2.75 inch Overlander on 35s for the travel-and-trail crowd. Our 3.75 inch Advanced on 37s for the do-it-all build. And our 5 inch Hybrid on 38s when you want to run the big stuff.

A little fall color from Buena Vista, Colorado.

No giant rock piles here, just one of the most beautiful places you can point a Jeep. Cheryl is ready for whatever the trail brings, though. Her JL runs our 3.75 inch Advanced Kit with R800 shocks, our Aluminum Steering with a PSC hydro assist, our front and rear Trail Bumpers, our Rockers she has proven are trail tested tough, a full set of our Skid Plates, and our Tire Carrier out back.

Cooler weather is some of the best wheeling of the year. A little prep makes it better.

Before you head out this fall, hit the basics: check your fluids and diff covers for leaks, look over your steering and suspension for any play, make sure your recovery gear is in the rig, and give your skids a once-over. Cold mornings and wet trails are hard on tired parts, so catch the weak links now.
