One of my favorite red-carpet interviews from Art Festival 3.0. A great conversation and a moment I'm truly proud of.

I had the opportunity to speak with an inspiring guest and engage in a conversation that went beyond the usual questions. Moments like this remind me why I love interviewing, storytelling, and connecting with people through meaningful dialogue.

Special thanks to @everlastartshows for bringing this experience to Ilorin. Art, culture, and creativity play an important role in shaping and growing our communities, and I hope to see this event continue to thrive in Ilorin for years to come.

Proud of this one and excited for many more opportunities to do what I love. by @ruth_speakss

Every powerful brand message starts with a voice that makes people stop, listen, and remember.

What began as a passion became a purpose. I started voice-over work because I loved storytelling. Today, I help brands turn ideas into messages that connect, inspire, and drive action.

Your brand deserves more than just words. It deserves a voice that carries emotion, confidence, and impact.

If you're ready to make your brand message as bold as your vision, let's create something unforgettable together.

Some stories don't make it to air, not because they lack value, but because the news cycle moves quickly.

This is a political analysis piece I produced for television, drawing on expert perspectives and public discourse surrounding the issue at the time. Although it was ultimately shelved before broadcast, it reflects the research, writing, and analysis that went into the production.

I'm sharing it here as part of my journalism portfolio and professional journey in media.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to represent the @ifeoluwacpinitiative at the World Mental Health Day 2026 event organized by the Kwara State Ministry of Social Development.

Beyond the discussions and activities, what stood out was the emphasis on inclusion and the recognition that mental health is a fundamental part of well-being for everyone, including persons living with disabilities.

It was inspiring to see individuals, advocates, caregivers, and stakeholders come together to promote a more inclusive and caring society.

Seeing persons with disabilities actively participate, share experiences, and engage with stakeholders reinforced an important truth: inclusion is not just about creating space it is about ensuring that every voice is heard, valued, and supported.

My takeaway from the event: Disability does not mean inability. Simply put, disability is not inability.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute. by @ruth_speakss

The photos told part of the story.

This voice-over tells the rest.

As we prepare for World Cerebral Palsy Day later this year, the conversation continues. If you'd like to volunteer, partner with, or support the work of the Ifeoluwa Cerebral Palsy Initiative, you can learn more through the link below.

Some stories stay with you long after the moment has passed.

My experience with a little girl living with cerebral palsy reshaped the way I understood ability, resilience, and inclusion. Through her joy, curiosity, and determination, I saw firsthand that cerebral palsy didn't define who she was or what she could do. She simply lived life on her own terms.

That experience stayed with me, so when I came across a volunteer opportunity with the Ifeoluwa Cerebral Palsy Initiative, saying yes felt natural.

On June 25, I joined the initiative at Emmanuel Baptist College in Ilorin, Nigeria, for a cerebral palsy awareness programme. Together, we challenged misconceptions, encouraged meaningful conversations, and promoted understanding, inclusion, and acceptance.

One student's question about relationships and the future reminded me why awareness matters. Sometimes, all it takes is one conversation to change the way we see another person.

One story from the day deserves a moment of its own—the founder's journey. I'll be sharing that in a voice-over very soon, and I can't wait for you to hear it.

As a journalist and storyteller, I believe the stories that leave the greatest impact are the ones that help us understand one another a little better. Grateful to have been part of this important conversation.
