The end of one chapter marks the beginning of another.

First semester examinations come to an end today, but the journey continues. Still resilient. Still pursuing success.

If there's one thing I'm truly grateful for, it's learning. And I'm talking beyond the classroom.
I cherish every experience, challenge, opportunity, and memory.

One more undergraduate semester to go, and I'm looking forward to all that's ahead. 🤗

4TH YEAR POSTING
My 4th year Laboratory posting was scheduled for last year, but due to the strike, it happened this year.
The strike is over; time to resume posting. It was intriguing because I was going to a teaching hospital laboratory, but the downside is that I had to combine posting with class lectures, all in a new session. It was rigorous! 😔

I learned new things, different from what I have known or thought them to be. This 4th year posting exposed me to a deeper understanding of what my field of study truly entails. Kudos to all medical laboratory scientists. Guess what? The scientists were all willing to teach us. Their passion was visible. They answered our questions, corrected our mistakes, and instilled discipline (they were not there to play).😁 It was the real world, not just the theories taught in classrooms. Real encounter with patients; patients' samples. Examining samples accurately to help the doctor proffer the right treatment.

Back story, I did my 3rd-year laboratory posting in a private lab. The methods and system of operations were different, although they arrived at the same results. The infrastructure and resources distribution was different. The teaching hospital lab had more patients, more samples (daily), vast clinical cases, and more workload.🙃

Fourth-year posting is done! Sincerely, I am grateful to God for a safe journey throughout this posting. I'm thankful for my parents for their support, both moral and financial support. Also, I'm thankful for my posting group, and did I mention I was opportune to be their group representative? Yes, I was. It was a beautiful opportunity, one I embraced with full commitment. 🤗💪
Goodbye 4th-year posting. ⏩ Viva is next. 🔜

Last slide: I had gone to submit our log books by 9 AM and returning by 5 PM. 🥲 Tired was written all over me. 😭

‘When you count your blessings, you will know your blessings count,’ the pastor said. Then I had a nudge in my heart (led by the Holy Spirit, I believe) to put up a challenge called The Grateful Heart Challenge.
I designed the flyer, added an anonymous link, and requested that people share what they are grateful to God for in 2025. Above are some of the responses I got. God is amazing; HE is faithful.

Personally, I am super grateful to God for 2025.
There were ups and downs, there were laughter and tears, but mainly laughter. 🥹😁🤗
I am grateful for my family. 🫂♥️
I am grateful for good friends, well-wishers, encouragers, supporters, and my fellowship community. ♥️
I am grateful for trying, missing, learning, and winning. Yes, I can count my wins in 2025. 😌🤭
I am grateful for opportunities and the shy and bold steps I took this year. 🙏
I am also grateful for great WhatsApp communities; the ones that push and challenge me to do better. 😁
I am grateful for so much that I cannot mention it all. I know you're grateful too.☺️

Yet another cool evening, scrolling through my phone gallery, and boom! I came across the photos below. 👇

On the 24th of August 2025, my Campus Fellowship (Dunamis Campus Fellowship UNEC) organized a prison outreach. By God's grace, I was opportune to spearhead the outreach planning and arrangements alongside a brother. It was a beautiful experience that required rigorous commitment. 😅 But honestly, I learned a lot from the outreach. When we entered the prison to interact, share God's word, and present gifts to the prisoners, there were waves of different emotions. I felt gratitude, pity, concern... it was a whole lot. Sadly, there was a nursing mother with a little baby. 😥 Freedom is a luxury.
The luxury some of those prisoners may never enjoy (sadly). We must be grateful for the freedom we enjoy. The cool evening is indeed a blessing.
